nannerneck
Just got through watching Peter Frampton on PBS's Soundstage in Chicago. He put on a great show. Brought back a lot of memories.[]

nannerneck
I have been checking for another date and I get 2/4 but it does'nt say anything about part 1 or 2. Gives one date lasts 60 min.
meagain
I stumbled on the show and only watched parts. I think he's ageing quite well. But it struck me that he was enjoying it and no matter if one likes the music or not - it's always nice to see a happy musician on stage. IMO. Audio Flynn
The Humble Pie toons were cool to hear recorded so well.
Moderators dtel Posted January 28, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 28, 2007 It was a good show, PBS's Soundstage sells Dvds of some of there shows on there website. Robert Plant also has a good one , it was on the Rave channel. Can't find them locally may have to order from Soundstage. http://www.pbs.org/wttw/soundstage/featured.htm
russ69
If you get a chance, catch his live show. He can still play. He throws in a couple Humble Pie tunes and really tears the house down. Thanx, Russ
colterphoto1
Yes I agree this was a very enjoyable show. Peter still has great pipes, can still play , and has great audience rapport. I'll look into that SOundstage Robbie Plant show- I'm a big fan of his!

Maybe I watched to see if I was wrong about him........................I wasn't wrong............
Mike Lindsey
Say what you want... he's a great live performer, still has his chops, and can still play a little. His Live in Detroit is an excellent DVD concert, as well as a very good recording. Plus Bob Mayo was on that DVD and was stellar as well. I watched to see if maybe my opinion of him had changed over the years, it hasn't......there was a time when I thought Clapton wasn't that good...over time my opinion changed....He is that good......Sometimes we are wrong, and latter down the road our views change..........................EH !!!!! It's a great watch for those who enjoy Frampton. I wonder who was filling in for Bob Mayo on the PBS performance? Anybody know? -Glenn PS: I imagine that someone will probably answer: Marty Miraclewhip! LOL (I know: That's really bad!)
