Klipsched with Yamahas
NC is deep, and very talented, but they are going down......muhahahahahaha! Being a native MD resident most of my life and staunch supporter of MD since 1972, I gotta believe! So many years of Dean Smith and Mike K kicking MD butt, so please understand my feelings on the subject. Still, all in good competitive fun

wstrickland1
I STILL have not forgotten the Len Bias steal and reverse dunk to beat Carolina at the Smith Center ....after sucking up an 8-Ball
oldbuckster
Being a Celtic Fan, Len Bias was a knock-out punch, and Boston has never recovered..............Coach Gary Williams does a good job at Maryland, he's one of those coaches...................... PhilMays
Your right OB. Didn't they get Len on some sort of freak draw or something? They would have been more of a power house (as they already were) at the time.
BigStewMan
Ohio State over UCLA (the locals will hate me). This time of year does bring some madness. Like the time I was at a nice restraunt celebrating my wedding anniversary which happened to fall on the same day as the finals. I asked the waiter to go check the score for me. strangely, i'm still married. Actually, my wife expects as much from me. I once asked a flight attendant if she would ask the pilot to radio the air traffic controller and get the score of a playoff game--he did and announced the score to the entire plane. kelA
Well my brackets are totally busted now. At least all my Final Four picks are barely hanging in there, after OSU's major scare.
PhilMays
Ohio State was some kind of lucky, that's for sure. My beloved ACC isn't showing so well this year.
Coytee
Tennessee played AT Ohio State back in...January I think. I watched the game and it was all OSU could do, to win that game. I'll be looking forward to a rematch. Being from Ohio and traditionally rooting for OSU, I'll find myself in a win/win situation. Won't really care who wins. I wonder though, if TN might have an axe to grind since they lost last time they met? [:^)]
PhilMays
I'll be pulling for Tennessee in that game
Arky
Was out in Vegas last week for the opening round. Nothing like watching all the games on huge screens & continually screaming cocktail!
Klipsched with Yamahas
Hey Arky, that's awesome, and hopefully someday I'll get the chance to attend one of these events. I can't imagine attending a set of games such as that OSU and Vandy played last week. I am generally a pretty boring guy, but when it comes to sporting events, look out..... Mr. Hyde. (lol) Speaking of consumption, seems my volume will be dictated by the outcomes.[] Now do I take this stuff seriously.....u betcha!
Arky
Man that OSU game hurt my feelings. I already had 4 winners on the parley & they don't cover by 1 pt by virtue of the inconsequential layup in ot. Best time of year in sports for me. Arky
Hi Dee, that doesn't bother me. Calipari always talks bad about us.
kelA
Well I am done. It has been a very odd week of basketball- with Kansas getting beat tonight and the earlier Kentucky drama this week. Now I guess I have to pull for Roy's boys down in Carolina.[]
Arky
That Tubby mess, about his kids (if true), is sad. I've only heard a little.
oldbuckster
Tubby Smith did a good job at Kentucky.............I don't think it was his coaching, I think it was something else that I don't want to go into detail on, but it is Kentucky.................Pat Riley should return to his school and Coach, they would win, no doubt............Pat Riley is a Local Boy up here, born and raised in Upstate New York...............I believe he played on a Championship Wildcat team under Joe B. Hall............ I had Memphis.......damn, I thought they would beat OSU....Wrong!!!!......Kansas, oh my, shocker there too.!!!! Run Heels Run.............
