Will there be forum members bringing their equipment and setting it up in their rooms? If so I wonder what we can expect to see and hear. FYI, KLIPSCH will provide Jubilees to a much anticipated crowd.( I suppose a cd player and amps..pre amps.. ?? ) People also do bring gear, I suggest a few CD's you love too! In past years, people brought parts, and other gear to trade...etc., etc. Friday night is not a "Klipsch event per say" that is Saturday...... Saturday night. Who knows what people might use in the rooms? Up to them.... Friday people get in at separate times so it's hard to nail something down. We "usually" drive or walk to a local restraunt and drink a few for dinner then come back to the bigger room at the Hotel. The Jubilees should be awesome! Hope this helps.. I think the New Orleans area would be a great place to have a get together. Our house is about an hour from New Orleans and about 45 minutes from the Gulf Coast. I'm in house limbo here as I am trying to move to another location in town. tc Did we start with the Crown? I do seem to recall that the Ballvenie was lonely the first night or so. If you want boiled crawfish we may have to have the gathering at a different time of the year, like spring. Our house would be fine, depending on the number of folks attending. I could also check into renting a small reception hall here. Since we live in a rural area rental rates are reasonable. We're open to any date and any place within reason. I just thought this area of the south would be nice since we are close to the Gulf Coast (casinos, beaches, etc) and New Orleans (French Quarter, Audubon Zoo, D-Day Museum, Aquarium of the Americas etc.).
