AndyKubicki
I missed a few good concerts, so I was the dud...last fall John McLaughlin toured...missed him. This past Friday Return to Forever played in LA, but we just returned from vacation in Victoria, Canada, so that didn't work out...I'm afraid to look to see who else will be around that I'll miss [:S]
billybob
Go's to show you, it's been awhile but, thought Ric Lee was the bass. Anyway, if half as good as Alvin they are now Ten Years Before.....good band live.

Would seem like New Hampshire might be good for Music, or are you too far from there too ?
Brac
OB portland, just over 2 hours each way..... To the south. Of course being from Miami, I was used to seeing everyone, Saw some real greats at Tobbaco Road, not to mention real concerts.

skonopa
If only I had the money and time for progpower this year. Oh yeah! Tickets bought, hotel and flight already booked and paid for! Going again this year (my fourth one in a row!). Friggan ICED EARTH is headlining this one - cannot friggan wait! Also have tickets for the "Hellish Rock" show that is on before ProgPower itself (which, incidently, was purely by coincidence). Looking forward to seeing Manticora, Gamma Ray and HELLOWEEN that night!
rcarlton
Title is missleading. Here is what I thought you were referring to: Summer concert duds for women!

HatTrick66
Blind Melon-no, the singer is dead. Dokken-maybe, they were technically my first live band ever because they opened for Judas Priest circa 1984.
HatTrick66
Just picked up tickets for The Black Keys at the Metro on 7/31 the night before I will see them at Lollapalooza. I guarantee the show at the little Metro will be better than the next night.
sunburnwilly
Blind Melon-no, the singer is dead. Dokken-maybe, they were technically my first live band ever because they opened for Judas Priest circa 1984. I checked out some of they're new stuff online . Not even close to Shannon the original singer . I didn't go .
