  2. yes, but consistent. there's a lot of good to be said about consistency.
  3. Yes, vote for HOPE & CHANGE, two things you know you're gonna get with a candidate whos' been in office for going on 50 yrs.
  4. Get yourself a some binoculars. If their the stinging variety, go visit the tree at night with a can of WD40 and a lighter.... might want to take along a fire extinguisher with you that evening.
  5. Now that's the 6th St. attitude! You da man!
  6. He was a good boy, never meant anyone no harm. All he wanted to do was make a little extra money for his Christmas gifts list.
  7. That must clearly be the case, because all your favorite Rock Star politicians are ignoring the use of masks.
  8. let me help you, eye have a crytal bowl..... the fascist anti-fascist will stop burning looting and murdering and some one will pretend to care, meanwhile the proud boyz will have to "stand down" because there's no one to beat, stomp or kill. get your popcorn ready, because I'm sure we'll being hearing a lot more from forty-four. forty-five will have to return fire with his own caca balls. for the koolaid manufacturer's association, aka. abc, cbs, nbc, msnbc, cnn, hln, snl, PBS, Twitter, Google, Facebook and Sally Jesse Rafael it will be business as usual, expect vivid paintings and joyous stories about how good things are going to be, it will be a propagandafest the likes of which only herr goebbels could appreciate. fox news will continue to display eye candy with fresh meat for conspiracy theorist.... how do you say "Russian Conspiracy" in Russian. It'll be interesting, but then again not so interesting, to watch new appointees' join and rejoin with some old confidants and old floaters in the swamp; all that operation x-fire typhoon thing, together with hunter, hunters' laptop, hunters' tax records, hunters' hooker's and the mystery "big guy" thing, .... well you won't be bothered with that anymore and your favorite she was almost was forty-four \ forty-five; all that will be gitt'n power washed back into the swamp.... anticipate a fresh paint job to keep the old girl shinny on the outside and to help sell a "all's well" message to the masses, of course it helps to have friends in high places to be mixing and dishing out the koolaid. So, long story short... you'll get more of the same, and you won't be hearing about corn pop any more.
  9. Agreed, "It Is What It Is" and how you feeeel about it depends on what your definition of "Is" is.
  10. I'm sure it was included for several times over. Your boy needed them to say the least.
  11. Yes indeed; 92 years young. Dad is the ultimate outdoorsman and best shot (rifle or shotgun) I've ever known.... and that ain't no BS either.
  12. Thanks to my dad I got to meet Mr. Yeager twice; he was a real down to earth good man who loved to quail hunt. I asked him to autograph a ballcap and he promptly obliged me with a smile, then dad got upset with me for pestering him, I still have the ball cap.
  13. Ha!!! You were already talking like a lawyer before you even left the nest.

    New Badge

Oh good grief Charley Brown..... looks like there's a moderators' Union.
  16. I use to get that one too. One of Dad's favorites any time I decided to do something my way, as opposed to the way I was told.... he'd yell out, "I'm Hoyle!!". lol, Does anyone get it?
  17. "Cut that fk'ing hair, you look like a beetneck".... I use to have hair the went below my shoulders, it bugged the shyt out of dad. Use to wear a earring with a feather, that I had to hide from dad. Mom was the opposite side of the coin. She was a ER charge nurse for many years before turning to teaching. She went back to college (A&M) and earned her masters when she was in her 30's, I never understood just how hard that is for anyone until I got older. After her masters she taught HS VOC (Health Occupation Education), mom was super laid back, but demanded the best from her students. Of course everybody loved her, even her own students called her mother and would come to the house. Guess who took me to my first ZZ Top, my first Chicago, my first Rod Stewart concert..... mom, always mom. Nothing seemed to ever bother her, she even let me listen to my own music in the car, Zeppelin, Floyd, whatever. She was the queen of cool. "Tell me who you go with and I'll tell you what you are"..... the usual response I got when I hung around with one of my wildest but loyal friends; Dad never liked him, until he started working for dad. Then he became dad's best friend and dad couldn't go anywhere unless Mark accompanied him.... too funny, LOL.
  18. It's nice to know that you can see the positive side of things.
  19. The Answer Is.... "We will all be meeting in the sweet by and by"
  20. Not sure if anyones posted these, but FYI they're great... Get the $99 dollar job with a clip, can be used with any mask. Also prevents your glasses (if you wear them) from fogging up. https://www.easyflowusa.com/
  21. Here in San Antonio I see the cops on BMW K series bikes, but I've also seen them on Harley's. Definitely rolling sofa class... I think the Goldwing owns that category. Thanks for the heads-up, will do my research... like always.... before I spend $20+ on a bike.
  22. Same here, I sold the Duc years ago, sometimes regret it. Placed an add on Craigslist and some dude in Minnesota had a shipper knocking on my door within 3 days. When I regret it, it's usually when I'm on the winding Hillcountry roads, but the pavement here are not the same as in Arkansas or Missouri; too many marbles here and too risky for me to play Joe racer. It's either a rolling Sofa or an adventure bike. Been leaning toward a BMW GS. What are you considering?
