  1. I'm with Shu on this one, great skill executed here. I did not grow up around woodworking skills and really wish I had a fraction of the skill set that is shown with these LS. Helll, I can't cut a 2x4 straight - with a chop saw!!
  2. Sure he does, you should see the size of books he reads!!? A real scholar he is ------
  3. MKP - which JBL do you speak of? Making Chorus sound like bookshelves! Or is this tongue-in-cheek?
  4. Wow Oldtimer you Are a salt barn affecianado, hats off. I might actually watch the barn report with you on the broadcast!?
  5. Yep, Miner,Tiger you got it right and its the same wherever weather is reported, for sure here in KC is no exception. ANY type of inclimate weather is the headline. It's ridiculus and almost insulting as they also advise you what to wear on a frigid morning. How about a heavy coat and gloves like we've all been doing for a hundred years?! And I believe in between meteorology school and broadcasting a must stop is the local junior college's drama department. Where thy could actually provide a public service they have become laughing stocks and as a now famous member states "drama queens". So true --- Been cold here too, low single digits to high teens, low twenties. Now to watch the "weather" for instructions on how to drive and what to wear. Oh yeah let's not forget the report from the hiway dept salt barn. Such intrigue there ---//
  6. Size 14 EEE I'll have you know ---
  7. ^^^^^ i knew I would be found out eventually ---
  8. ----- "in this era of sound bars". Now, hold on there cowboy. I happen to own two sound bars, Klipsch I'll have you know, the big ones, 10b and 20b. The 10b under the 55 in the living room and the 20b downstairs under the 70. Oh, the 20b, nestled between modified KP450 cinemas and KHorns. Sound bars Do have their place ---
  9. Just stickin' my nose in here - that's a Connie. Had a couple first Gens and an '09. And an '07 14. And so many other bikes I would have to give some thought so not to miss one, or two.
  10. Yeah, I saw these dudes in concert many moons ago. So many in fact that their opening act was a group who called themselves The Greatful Dead? Whaaaaat ---- Yep, it's true.
  11. From what I have read the only difference is diaphragm material, the 2441 using aluminum. The 375 uses titanium I believe and for whatever reason commands more $$$ in the marketplace. The 2441 seems to be the choice in a two way install and for what reason? I am not sure? But I am very hesitant to spend the $$$ if I cannot be sure of its compatibility with the KP450,EAW, Crites combination. And even with the insight of those on the Forum I'm not sure anyone will have the sure-fire answer I am looking for.
  12. If I'm not mistaken it was started in celebration of my Birthday? If I've not said - Thank you !
  13. Come on - those are his rear surrounds! Cornwalls out front! But he's lookin' for more than just listening to tunes if you catch my drift!?
  14. ^^^^^ You and the LF? Nice rig --- Is that all people eat when it snows - bread??!!
  15. Ceptor - possible vertigo? From what I understand that can be debilitating. And you being airborne on ladders/platforms? Doesn't sound like a good combination. Good luck -
  16. Five dead at Ft. Lauderdale International airport.
  17. Whoaa -- you in Daisy Dukes - on an Arkansas farm - in the middle of nowhere - -- I can hear banjos playin' from here !!? I'll be in attendance for this only - the rest is cake.
  18. I have a line on a pair of professional 2441 drivers, a close cousin of the fabled JBL 375's. Alnico magnet structure, 4 inch voice coils, 23 lb., 2 inch throat. My KPT 904 Frankensteins have the B&C 750 drivers attached to a EAW 2 inch horn. Crites did the networks like the Klipsch 904 with the 510 horn. The JBL is 16 ohm, the B&C is eight. I've investigated the 2441 and believe it crosses at 800hz like the BC but its gets a bit technical for me and I have no way do run any type of analytics or frequency sweeps. Am I asking for trouble just swapping the BC for JBL? Will the 8 vs. 16 ohm be a factor? Or is it much more complicated than that? The JBLs aren't cheap and I would hate to damage not only them but the speaker in general.
  19. With this quote from Chief Bonehead I'm a bit surprised the "lll" didn't follow the 396 and for that matter the re-designed KHorn (Jubilee) as a 2-way design. Although with obvious intention to follow past design criteria a new Forte would "need" to be 3-way much like the CWlll. The 2017 Pilgrammage might well be an eye opener.
  20. ^^^^^ Thats funny --- and a little scarry!?
  21. I believe PeeWee and the San Diego Chargers security guard are now "hanging out" together?! Well see how that "cums" out??
  22. Now THAT is a spread! 'Though not sure which one I like most, the spread of chips or food? Nice ---
  23. You're da man, changed to ESPN 1 not 2 then you my digital channel. That's more to my liking, thanks.
  24. It can't be me, you aren't seeing this ? No way a remote malfunction could do this? Top half of screen in two parts, close up and field view of the game. Bottom half both coaches pacing with those pictures split with stats from each team. You're scaring me now, I haven't started drinking yet.
  25. Anyone "viewing" the great ESPN quad screen coverage of the Alabama/Washington game? What a freakin' joke! An upper split screen shot of the game, full field and close up, and bottom split screen of the coaches pacing the the sidelines! What idiot director dreamed up this shitt?! Extremely exciting watching two college coaches pacing the field. Another example of someone answering a question no one has asked, or cares about. Not a big NFL minor league fan anyway but I thought I'd watch the games today. Thought it was a feature shot for early in the game but seems its how they intend to broadcast, I'm out. Guess I'll go buy a 100 inch TV so I can watch four, 25 inch pictures. F'in joke ----
