  1. Now THAT is a spread! 'Though not sure which one I like most, the spread of chips or food? Nice ---
  2. You're da man, changed to ESPN 1 not 2 then you my digital channel. That's more to my liking, thanks.
  3. It can't be me, you aren't seeing this ? No way a remote malfunction could do this? Top half of screen in two parts, close up and field view of the game. Bottom half both coaches pacing with those pictures split with stats from each team. You're scaring me now, I haven't started drinking yet.
  4. Anyone "viewing" the great ESPN quad screen coverage of the Alabama/Washington game? What a freakin' joke! An upper split screen shot of the game, full field and close up, and bottom split screen of the coaches pacing the the sidelines! What idiot director dreamed up this shitt?! Extremely exciting watching two college coaches pacing the field. Another example of someone answering a question no one has asked, or cares about. Not a big NFL minor league fan anyway but I thought I'd watch the games today. Thought it was a feature shot for early in the game but seems its how they intend to broadcast, I'm out. Guess I'll go buy a 100 inch TV so I can watch four, 25 inch pictures. F'in joke ----
  5. In the not too distant past 100hp/liter was considered benchmark performance for production vehicles. Toady the major bike manufacturers are getting 200hp/liter. Double the output in the last 10-15 years. Innovation marches forward ---
  6. Yep again. You want to be pushed back in your seat at moderate speed/rpm much like a plane on take off = torque. Thats what I like about my car, torque and HP values are nearly the same. You get the low end torque push down low and hounds from helll HP on top. Modern engines/electronics are remarkable.
  7. CEC is right and particularly for today's muscle cars and super bikes. They are as docile as can be and very driveable/rideable until you crank on the loud pedal. My Scat 6.4 is ***** cat until you unlock the power, program the sport setting then you best hang on. It is truly an eye/ear opening experience. Same with bikes that now produce around 200hp and weigh but 450-500lbs, some less. Run 'em round below 7/8,000 rpm and they ain't much but from there till 13/14,000 you best be pointing in the right direction with clear road ahead. Helll maybe there's an answer - buy a BMW RR1000 and keep the S2000. Best of both worlds. Cruise top down in the S and wear diapers and Big Boy pants when you turn the loud handle on the RR.
  8. ^^^^^ Yep and yep. A small musical sub + RB75 = Big Sound. Even in my large lower level music room they fill it quite nicely. Never heard RF7 in this room but having the same mid/tweeter as the RF? it is a remarkable small, stand mount speaker.
  9. Hey 'Heel - Please do not take this as criticism but seems you post far more often looking for more power on the S2000 rather than telling us how much you enjoy the car. That is one beautiful machine you scored and in remarkable condition. Always wanting additional HP, don't we all, maybe you bought the wrong car? You sound like a prime candidate for a modern muscle car? Camero and Mustang offer high performance drop tops which you seem to favor, maybe those are an option? And the Big 6.4L Challenger are m-f'ers. As to the LF that's a common problem with unscrupulous contractors, money up front and waving bye bye. Keep on his asss, make yourself a pest, maybe have a lawyer friend send a letter on letterhead threatening legal action? Best luck on tracking down the scum bag and those extra Horses!!
  10. ^^^^^ Right you are Jimbo - she was more of a video gal anyway --- And don't ask, long destroyed!!
  11. Wrestle a cougar -yes. I was in my mid-20's, she was in her late 40's. Ended a draw! Ah - the good ol'days ---

    Belles SOLD

Damn nice work on the Belles, USN. Someone will have splendid, rare examples of one of Paul's finest. But to trade for a run-of-the-mill McIntosh??
  13. I tried a friends Miniwatt several years back, this newer three tube version using the EL84. While not a "true" single ended amp it sounded pretty darn good for what it is - a $200 tube amp. Tube output using a switching mode power supply. I believe I had Belles and/or Cornwalls at the time and ran them them well at moderate levels. While indeed you have three tubes a glowin' it may be a stretch to call this a true introduction to tubes and Klipsch.

    What I Got Today!

If as the spec sheet shows the K510 horn is a 2 inch outlet horn.
  15. Yep, shooting someone "defending" your property is a sure ticket to prison. Even defending your person with a gun is never a clear cut case to be being "innocent".
  16. Tonite, Danny Edwards KC BBQ at my step sons. Brisket (compares with any in the city) pulled pork and KC burnt ends. And the inauguration of his new, delivered yesterday, Klipsch 160m's. These should serve well in a smallish newly finished basement. I'm pitching in with an older Denon CD, cables and older sub I've had lying around. Should do him well until he gets really up and running, anxious to hear 'em. I welcomed him him to the Klipsch family with the offspring from my KHorns and RB75's! I thought I heard them messin' around one night ---
  17. Well put, what I've attempted to say in three previous posts. You nailed it - "not let it or people screw my happy up".

    What I Got Today!

Well, OK - "decent" "garage" system I'd venture to say. Cool -

    What I Got Today!

So Metro and CEC - are you using the 396 exclusive for two channel? Or in combo with HT? With a sub? As the specs show the bottom a bit less than LaScalla. I bet that 3 inch with the 510 is the difference maker.
  20. Here, here - the only one who doesn't seem ruffled with the situation is who just dropped $12K on a pair of speakers. And I agree red/green would be very unique and still sound well, like KHorn's. But please assure me that each red and/or green finish is indeed book matched. And once a year what great ornaments they will make hanging from my giant pine in the front yard. And a very KHorn Christmas to one and all ---
  21. ^^^^^ Great words to live by Shu but how this thread has progressed that is doubtful. Now that each and every flaw in Aaron's $12k pair of Heritage has been brought to his attention how could he be happy and not worry?
  22. The only "air" I would be catching is the 'copter ride to the ER. Ah to be young, again ---
