  1. It's not what Honda motor but how many Honda motors. Ten or eleven Accord motors might do it - but doubtful.

    What I Got Today!

Initial thoughts? Competition for the Mc?
  3. Oh That kind of buddy - the best kind.
  4. Do three marriages adding to 29 total count-----?!
  5. My Fastlane Elliptrac modded KHorns have proven to sound best for My Liking with the 2a3. I'm still a bit astounded at the combination of detail, soundstage, proper bass and crystal highs afforded from 3.5 watts. I have KT66/88 and EL84 on these Horns and prefer the 2a3 (84's a close second). Trying to shy from pimping a particular brand the best I've heard on Belle and Cornwall Heritage is the 6C33 Russian brute of a power tube run single ended at 45 watts from Audio Mirror. The best sound for me bar none and I'll most likely end up with a pair for the KHorns.
  6. Them's big words as I've watched you go through more gear than a week of AGon listings? I consider this high praise --
  7. I have read that all Class D, T, gainclone, chip amps are best left on 24/7. With there minimal current draw there is no reason to shut 'em down. My one gainclone has no on/off switch, just the power cord. Amp always on, caps are always charged and music is at hand at a moments notice.
  8. If i drank, probably be ready for a nice whiskey after this pair...In the beginning, always wonder why I do this. Afterwards, no question as to such Matt ♪ ♫ ♪ Afterwards you can't wait to use hour new record changer! That photo plus your forum name says it all ---- just sayin'
  9. Agree, thanks Dean. Been eyeing an inexpensive Class T and after the read and looking at internal construction I think I'm going to pick one up. They do make another, lesser model but with remote and built in DAC for about $30 less. But I really like the twin tranny, dual mono approach. Should be sweet with KHorns.
  10. I've had to push away more than once to comment on this thread but well, I can't help myself. Hopefully that having owned VRD,s twice is a qualifier. I don't recall very many audio topics, audio only, where VRD as the subject gets so many hackles raised. Kinda wired. Won't, can't, shouldn't add more fuel.
  11. That is some impressive machining for sure. With the skill showed on the casework I'd bet the edges are chamfered nicely as well.
  12. Funny how some vehicles come and go, start with a crap product and are soon gone or start with a crap product, Hyundai, stay the course and now build some competitive products. My BiL worked at a Hyundai dealership when they were first introduced and he told nothing but horror stories on their initial build quality. Looks like they got it figured out unlike our Yugo friends.
  13. Are we ever going to hear something to the positive that a cop may have done or continue to dredge up each and every questionable action that always cast on the negative. I guess I'll go out on the limb and try for positive although it won't sound nearly as dramatic and/or negative (hope this is allowed). Many years ago my family was in the retail liqour business with three locations and a string of robberies had occurred with an employee being shot and paralyzed for life. So for a couple weeks we had cops stationed in our stores atop the walkin coolers, armed and ready for another robbery. Of course this had to end but the positive, yes this is a positive, several cops took it upon themselves to watch over the store for the next month. This was off duty time, not part of the original watch, just to add some security and let us breath a bit in the evening. Nothing ever came of it, no more robberies but at least enforcement had our backs. And yes about a year later I was robbed at gunpoint myself. Never there when you need them, damn cops. (Though a bit of negativity was needed to keep things status quo).
  14. Point taken - possible cork implantation removed only with encryption - ?
  15. As our technology continues to flourish we can hope that one day soon that at birth doctors can implant a video camera in our forehead to record each and every wrong in our lives and make those wrongdoers pay and pay dearly. I suppose with the camera an index for the closest lawyer to your geographic location might be handy too. As we grow through childhood each and very playground incident will be recorded for possible legal action down the road; each athletic activity noted to assure that ego soothing participation trophy; should your parents become heavy handed with a swat to the rear a call to child services will be in order with complete documentation of course; school teachers watch your P's and Q's as you will be prime time video on the Forehead Cam network; employers would be wise to hire any and all Forehead Camrs' or else a quick scan of the lawyer index is in order; and police stops - the battles of police vest cams, new era police with Forehead Cams and civilian Forehead Cams will take place. Let the video wars begin. Glad I'm 63 and will be gone prior to this needed technology but pity my grand kids and the crap world we are handing them.
  16. He sells a bunch of gear on AGon and US Audio. This casts no dispersion just have seen many listings from this seller.
  17. Not only to be in their shoes but in this day and age when everyone is a videographer people are just looking for someone to make a scapegoat be it a fatal one or not. I wonder how many of us could work not only in a stressful workplace but always knowing someone is there ready to capture their every move and send it to the Great,Vindictive and Judgemental Web? Oh and how many of these videographers (I mean those experts who carry a cell phone) ever make the effort to show a cop just going about his business, neither good or bad? These do-good are also looking for ther 15 minutes of fame through the tragedies of others. Blood suckers.
  18. Although these are not "real" OE KHorns that is not a bad price considering the drivers, Volti horns and craftsmanship. This considering the price for factory new KHorns.
  19. So many comments can be made to this non sense that I elect to keep to myself or most probably have the discussion closed. But quickly, I bet your heart will be racing much faster when the violence is directed toward you or your family and LE can't get to you fast enough. Bet you don't care if they call for back-up then, as long as they arrive in time to hopefully ward off your situation as you piss your pants.
  20. Agreed on the lack of communication particularly with the POS he sold to me --
  21. And turn off the engine and place the keys on the dash in plain sight . And Never Ever Never get out of the vehicle unless requested to do so. That act might provoke a drawn gun quicker than any other.
