  1. I ran over a couple of Republicans in the parking lot at the polling place, then turned around and came home. I figured that was good enough....
  2. I have a Sony for the living room where my wife watches the tube, and an Oppo 103 downstairs in the music room where I listen to music, watch concert Blu Rays, etc....never the twain shall meet.....My Oppo is awesome.
  3. I have two pair with Crites xovers and tweets. They will rock with just about everything out there...
  4. Okey dokey, thanks very much. No hurry.
  5. Not entirely sure what you mean by that....ever heard one paired with Cornwalll's, Belle's, La Scala's, KG 5.5's and even Heresy's??? Great performance. And the 1050 is right behind....
  6. Waiting for the red oak Belle pics.....with cane grills I suppose?
  7. PM sent, will call you in a little bit.
  8. Are these sold? Just saw them on CL posted yesterday.
  9. Within a room that is 13 ft from front of speakers to the listening position, and the speakers equal distance apart, should the HF top bin be placed exactly even with the LF bottom bin (front to back), or ? Best practice? I know, I know, whatever sounds good to me, but, man, these things are heavy!!!
  10. OK, this shouldn't be so difficult.....no corners. Listening position 13 feet away, centered. Carpeted, acoustic drop ceiling, upholstered furniture. The cats walk by every once in a while, but they don't seem to affect the acoustics, as I have treated their tails with super high end pure silver braiding, and have installed felt pads on their feet....
  11. Same here....I just called, still avail, about 30 miles north of Traverse City, MI. Anybody up there want to pick them up?
  12. Sorry to say I still don't have a lot of folks real names associated with their screen names...do you mean jason str, master builder of TableTuba's?
  13. Made ya look....sorry, not for sale...question on setting up 3 pairs in the same room. For the sake of (simple) argument, all input from same source, same music. A sub will be in the mix with all 3 pairs. Listening position will not change. Would like some opinions on how they could be placed from inside to outside....I'm thinking La Scalas, Belle's, CW's? Interested to hear what you all think....
  14. With or without badges, black, brown, cane. Should be in good shape. Thanks. Northern Indiana, driving to Philly around Thanksgiving....
  15. Good decision. There are better things out there for the same or a little more dough.....
  16. OK, Klipsch Express time fellas.....anyone driving from SoCal to the Midwest for Thanksgiving or Christmas? or whenever? Let's try to help out. I am then driving from N. Indiana to the Philadelphia area during both time periods....
  17. Ginger or Mary Ann? Neither...Mrs. Howell for sure.
  18. Given your football team's performance this year, we don't blame you. Don't worry, my friend, basketball season is coming. Correct you are, my friend....an underhanded reference to same.....
  19. Truth! I would still entertain large format mid/highs on a current generation commercial product, but I sure as heck will have to consider and factor in the additional costs of adding some magic to the set up. Those "guys" are very, very, very, few and far between...and not indicative at all of the majority of this forum.
