anyone ever heard Zu Audios "Druid" floor stander? there is a pair here locally and they seem like a fair deal. have no idea what I would use them for... maybe rears. Inb4timbreissue...

The wall of sound or the image of sound, both have viability and desirability. I think, as already stated above, for modern enveloping compositions I prefer the wall of sound. For other forms of music, jazz and rock, I prefer better imaging of 2 channel...

I sold my Pioneer SC35 and ordered a new AVR to use as a pre pro.. I wish it had balanced, but it doesn't SC85 It has a better DAC than my Oppo, MCACC Pro, and the latest generation Class D amp. slightly better than a sideways move, but not earth shattering.

I Used to think my Onkyo 806/Heresy combination was the nuts... until I listened to separates.
