I think this is being a little obsessive... but they are your speakers. I just walked over to my purchased new RC64ii... it has a little rim of glue exposed. I dont think I could ever tell the difference sonically whether or not it was there.

so as far as you know, the 510 set up can not be purchased separately new?

inside a CW... there doesn't appear to be any reason why this would not fit... including clearing the tweeter.

so then... has anyone tried to put a 510 in a Cornwall cabinet? I am left wondering how the 510 stacks up against a Fasttrack.

I wish someone would just market a LF section in 1" birch for sale that could be flat packed and mailed out to buyers just like these pictured here... I would buy a pair, or perhaps even three of them. we could ad our own drivers of choice and cross over of choice.

you could use a pin to poke holes in it... but as other have said, it doesn't look to be a big deal
