  1. Search youtube for "gorilla saves boy" There are too many to post
  2. So everyone concedes that the Zoo acted appropriately in shooting the gorilla? It's only a matter.of who is more culpable? The designer of the barrier, or the mother for letting him get into that situation. If the parents are clearly at fault, should the zoo have killed the gorilla, why not let mature take its course. Or do we say the child can't help that it is born to stupid parents so as netween gorilla and child, gorilla always had to lose. Two other gorillas were in that area and responed to calls to come inside. Deceased gorilla didn't respond. Does the gorilla bear any of the responsibility? Was be born there? Or captured in wild and brought there? Maybe somethings, like Orcas just were not meant to be locked up? That is supposed to be one of the top Zoos in the World, and in top 5 in US.
  3. Awesome, now all it needs is some Klipsch outdoor speakers
  4. So far it would appear that the answer to this question is a resounding "NO"
  5. Perfect opportunity for someone to create a poll, on what I'm not sure of.
  6. And now mine, thanks for that. "Go back to playing Candy Crush. You’re not needed here." Quote of the day. Ms. Guido, you nailed it.
  7. I think there are a couple of issues being discussed here. One relates to marketing/sales. What Klipsch could/should do to accomplish (fill in the blank). I don't kmow enough about their budgets to be able to say what is and isn't possible. I see they have had news announcemts about supporting small live venues, and new artists. The other issue appears to be preserving the history of PWK and Klipsch and Associates and that will be accomplished with the new Klipsch Musuem (announced at the Pilgrimage by Jim Hunter) in conjunction with the help of Forum members. Klipsch is dedicated to establishing a permanent home for the artifacts and archives in Hope, and so is Mr. Hunter. This will ensure PMK's legacy is preserved right in Hope. Efforts are already underway to rebuild or mend relationships with any organization that has shown an interest in devoting space to that memory, as well as establishing new relationships to expand the opportunities to share the story about PMK and his company. Many announcements are coming, and thing are happening very quickly, but I am very excited about the future. Keepers of the flame, I like that, but I wonder if Keepers of the Legend would be more appropriate?
  8. Diz, I have seen a lot of nice gestures on the forum, that has got to be in the top 5. Just one Klipsch fan helping another, no baggage attached. Arash has a pair of LS in Iran he inherited from his grandfather and is trying to figure out a way to buy 402 horns and get them sent there. I look forward to the day when we get word that Arash has RSVP'd he will be attending a Pilgrimage in Hope. Diz, you confirmed what I always suspected about you: You Sir are a Gentleman.
  9. I am sincerely curious, how difficult was it to send something from the US to Iran? Was US mail the best option? Do they just have you fill out a form and declare it is not one of items that are prohibited from being shipped there?
  10. The Klipsch Heritage Musuem will be working closely with the Chamber to provide resources to hopefully accomplish exactly what you suggested.
  11. They have done one in conjunction with Dolby sound, it's awesome. I suggested the same thing ten years ago, but just recently learned that the theaters charge a lot of money for doing that. They have the trailer, which are 20 and 40 seconds in the movie biz, in some theaters and are expanding.
  12. "Right to work labor" which is code for plentiful sub $10.00 per hour labor
