  1. Yep and Unfortunately some just don't get it…As we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don’t know we don’t know.
  2. Well, they're dead....... Dead they all may be, but even dead any of them would do a better job than any of the recent or current bunch alive. So could your dog.
  3. None of them could get nominated today. TR couldn't get anywhere as a Republican today, or even in 1912 when he formed the progressive party. FDR would be called a "socialist/communist" today and there wouldn't be room for him in the Democratic party. Eisenhower could probably win as a Democrat today if he came off winning a major war victory, but there would be no room for him in the Republican Party. Reagan was way too moderate and willing to compromise for today's Republican "base" to get through the primary process. He supported Brady. Regan gave amnesty to 3 million immigrants. Voting for Immigration reform hurt Little Marco with the base, it would kill Reagan today. Wilson, I would have to think about that some more. Where he was on trade could possibly make him a front runner today. Appatently, taxes, trade and immigration are the big issues with voters this cycle. Those great people came at a time when their values were needed for the issues of the time. I think one of the current candidates has ripped a page right out of TR's playbook and it has been very effective for him thus far.
  4. I think you have that backwards CO2 is 25 to 75% N, which can be seen when the bubbles slide down the side of the glass. A European faucet helps even more, and it looks like you have one of those. Right. My dyslexia has been awful today. Luckily I use a blender to keep my mixology right. I have this: I also have the micromatic regulators for the O2 and Nitrogen tanks. My pregnant can cost me about 2 grand. Wow you got it going on. I had a Kegerator and bar built into my office when we built it. Was kind of a meeting place on Fridays. We had to get premixed, and had to find a place that knew how to do it right. A bit of trial and error. But once you have it right you can tell by just looking at the bubbles. Awesome setup,
  5. I have been in Houston the last ten days or so, It is bad, but I think LA (405, I 10) is worse. Seems like every freeway has an HOV lane here and you fly right by.

  7. Unforgettable show, do not pass this up if you can go. The venue is world class, and if Larry gives a class before the performance, you will learn more about an orchestral performance than you ever thought possible.
  8. I just noticed that Coytee changed his Avatar and went from one of his dogs to another one. What do you think?
  9. You should have created a poll, now we will never know.
  10. He would say "drink Modello" my friends.
  11. Doubtful. Their parking lot is always full during the week, on weekends they need extra parking security to control the traffic.
  12. Travis - Rose and I are here for you. Let me know if there is anything we can do for you or your parents. As you always are. He is progressing well, but slow. This is Day 7 in the hospital.. Mom is stuck up in Ft. Worth waiting for surgery to fix her broken leg. The big thing is when they cut him loose somewhere here in the next 5 to 7 days I doubt they will clear him for 3 hour car ride, or airplane ride, so hopefully they will clear him for ambulance ride from Houston up to rehab center near Mom. One small step at a time. Travis
  13. Don't say a word until I get there. I'm sure it is all just a simple misunderstanding. Cool cup.
  14. It's been light, but steady this morning. It was comming down last night. He is at St. Luke's at HMC and I have been stayi g in Sugarland. I forgot what the June bugs were like.
  15. I have been in Houston for the last week or so with my Dad. I brought him down from Burleson last Tuesday for an aortal aneurysm repair. It has been slow going, but he is improving everyday. The coffee in the hospital is actually quite good. Travis
  16. "In the physical realm, vinyl stayed strong, as sales of LPs hit a new record in 2015—nearly 12 million units. This marks the 10th straight year of vinyl sales growth. The big winners in this realm were independent record stores, which drove 45% of all vinyl sales. The biggest genre for vinyl? Rock, with 68% of LP sales." So that is going to be about 290 million in sales. Getting close to 10% of US music mkt. That is getting to a point where some heads may start to turn where they were not before.

  18. Lady Gaga can actually sing. Check her out on youtube with Tony Bennett. She made a believer out of me. Linda Ronstadt is one of my all time favorites. Her albums with Nelson Riddle are some of my favorites. Some now call her and others like Adele screamers and she did like to raise her voice. I lean more to the sultry voices than screamers more in my old age.You can compare Lady Gaga's vocal chops in the 'Duet I and II CDs' with Tony Bennett. I'd give both Amy Winehouse and KD Lang the nod over Lady Gaga. She went from outstanding to really unbelievably fat.JJK Looks are not applicable. It's not a swimsuit competition but a talent show question limited to women who sing when you eyes are 'wide shut'. Well I remember her singing at Folsom Prison in a miniskirt and just recently somewhere that I couldn't remember because I was in shock.JJK You were in Folsom? Johnny Cash did a special at Folsom with Linda . No I wasn't there. JJK Johnny Cash taped in Nashville, I think they went out to a prison in Tennessee for that special. If it's the one I am thinking of where she did Desperado and Your No Good. Interesting song choices for a prison.

  20. Thyroid condition I believe. Parkinson's, it ended her career, but she perseveres with other causes.
