  1. And don't forget to ALWAYS run your room correction software after you've added any type panels or bass traps.
  2. There's not a reset button that I've seen. What model is it? Are you sure it's not a signal issue?
  3. I gutted 4 of them once I got them. There was absolutely no sign of water damage in any of the cabinets.
  4. Doubling the wattage only increases difficulty by 50%. Rookie mistake. But, he also has the UMC-200. Is that worth 1/3 times more of the selling price? He doesn't have the UMC-200 yet. Are you talking 1/3 more of the re-selling price or the pre-selling price? Makes a big difference when you plug it into the re-selling matrix.

  6. How difficult would it be to re sell an Emotiva XPA-5?
  7. Salamander is the route I went. I have shelves on one side and rack mount brackets on the other. The center section houses my RC-7 and would easily house an RC-64. As noted, it's not the cheapest solution but it is VERY customizeable when configuring for purchase.
  8. If I get one before July, I can bring it with me for a test run. It will not stay however when I leave[]
  9. What's your point? We are only guessing without more details from the OP but my guess is he has likely ordered the UPA-500 or is considering ordering it and is having second thoughts. That is my guess. Pre-buyers remorse?
  10. For anyone interested, the 100's make GREAT patio speakers.
  11. Amazing how an emoticon can change a post.
  12. I suppose that depends on your asking price, condition of the unit and if you're willing to ship. Any of those 3 could increase or decrease difficulty.
  13. I was just jonesin' for some pics. That's a beaut for sure[Y]. I had a PCU and a PB12+2 before I built my IB. SVS makes a great product and has some of the best customer support anywhere.
  14. Coming together nicely. Please continue with the photo documentary of your journey!
  15. Great post. Many people don't realize how much the room influences what actually gets to your ears. People will throw cash at amps/speakers/eq etc instead of working on the room. I guess those are more glamorous purchases as opposed to room treatments. Your observations are spot on.
  16. Amy, where IS your duck nowadays anyway?
  17. If Klipsch recomended it as a replacement, I'd get it. They know the filter settings and power output of your original amp. I can't imagine they'd recomend it if it wouldn't work.
  18. I've read a lot of positive reviews on the DRAGONFLY DAC.
