  1. There's a lot of metallic spray paints out there at paint and hardware stores. Just be sure to try it on some scrap first to see if you have a good color match.
  2. And anything more than a handfull is a waste[]
  3. High level inputs are for using speaker wire connections. Many older amps/receivers did not have low level (RCA) outputs so you had to use the speaker wires to get a signal to the sub. you don't need to use them.
  4. It looks beautiful, but the OP was looking for pre-assembled I believe.
  5. Congratulations, may your marriage and future be blessed. Carl
  6. Bump to the top. What's going on out there Marshall?
  7. The center channel is one of the most important speakers in a HT. Don't skimp there. Is there any thing you can do with your current space to accomodate it? What are you going to use for a subwoofer (the other most important speaker in a HT)?
  8. I see. Does it make a difference if you run speaker wires to the sub and then from the sub to your bookshelves? In other words, only use one output ou your receiver.
  9. Does it have L and R sub in jacks? If so, put a Y adapter at the sub and connect to both inputs. The amp will see twice the input signal and turn on sooner, of course you'll have to turn the gain down on the sub amp accordingly. If it only has one input jack, turn the gain up from your receivers subwoofer output and lower the gain on the sub amp.
  10. Welcome the the forum by the way!
  11. Sorry, haven't heard either sub but the extension and output figures looks almost identical for each sub. The only real difference is the fact the the Sub-12 is ported and the SW-310 is a PR design, if you prefer the sound of one type over the other.
  12. Actually, I built that particular sub for my son's mini van. It was tuned too low for competition but it still hit 150 dB at 34Hz.
  13. I thought EVERYONE had one of those.
  14. I think they're exporting them from California. we still have a few regular people left here in california. Present company excluded[:$].
  15. Dillon, I had a similar sub set up as you before I built my IB. It was actually a PCU and a PB12+2. SVS makes some nice subs.
  16. I think they're exporting them from California.
  17. OK, that's enough. Quit needling Amy.
  18. Is there any Pink Floyd in the soundtrack?
  19. What did they sell for new, not msrp but street price?
  20. I believe that speaker is sealed. You might check the driver mounting screws to be sure they're tight. You may have a small air leak.
  21. Also........the first few panels you install are critical. If they're not perfectly perpindicular, it will throw every other panel off.
  22. That's exactly how I built mine. I only had one hole that was slightly off. I glued a small piece to the panel with the missed hole to make up for it.
