  1. Sorry for your loss. Loosing a family member is never easy.
  2. It shouldn't cost anything to try. I would liken it to putting a subwoofer in the trunk of your car. You can still hear it but it may not be as clear as you might want. The lower you cross it over, the better.
  3. Ronald Regan always kept a jar full on his desk as I recall. He was a BIG fan.
  4. I guess you got your sub[].
  5. It would be a toss up between the eD and the MFW15. The looks of the MFW15 would most likely push me in that direction as the eD's finish isn't my favorite (think spray in bedliner).
  6. Try Klipsch at 1-800-554-7724.
  7. I replied to your question in your other thread. Carl
  8. Don't leave your son alone with the stereo. It sounds like he may have clipped the amp and cooked the drivers. If you gently push in and out on the drivers and hear or feel a scratching with the movement of the drivers then they're most likely toast. Carl
  9. My "sex for speakers" thread didn't go over very well.
  10. The biggest plus side of the show for me is the fact that we can watch it as a family, including my 11 year old daughter. I don't have to worry about language, violence or adult situations. It may not be the show for the ultimate audiophile but it is good family entertainment. Am I the only one who could picture Adam in the Rocky Horror Picture Show?
  11. Anything for a paisano [Y]. Carl
  12. Allison's gone. Too bad, I really liked listening to her sing. What a great talent at such a young age.
  13. I can't seem to find the post that helps decode LaScala serial numbers. Can anyone tell me if the #145191 will give you the year built?
  14. Not too hard on the eye either.
  15. I've seen Adam and am not a huge fan. He was in the bottom 2 last week but has been a judge favorite for quite some time.
  16. You just have to weed through the bad posts.
  17. FWIW, I've got 325wpc amps on my RF-7's and NEVER had a problem. Headroom on an amp is a good thing. They sound cleaner when driven hard than they did when I had them hooked up to a 100wpc receiver.
  18. Here's the holes for the woofer and mid horn in the same Heresy.
  19. Here's a close up of a tweeter cut out in a Heresy.
  20. You're asking if there is a seal between the speakers and the cabinet? If so, then yes.
  21. Just as long as it doesn't taste like Bong Water [+o(]
