  1. Marilyn, their neice. I think her real name was Pat something or other. From what I remember there were a couple of different Marilyns.
  2. Agreed, if your vehicle is not E85 rated, I wouldn't use ethanol in it.
  3. How about this description from the website: The Leather is the warmest, heaviest, most expensive, most amazingly badass, most go-to-a-bar-and-have-women-ask-to-touch-your-Utilikilt garment we offer. This baby isn’t for the meek. The Leather is for real men. Big men. Men who aren’t afraid to wear large swaths of cow around their waists. Men who take secret pleasure in making vegans and bovine activists cry.
  4. There's actually a page titled "Honorary Members"!!
  5. Wow, that's pretty strong. I noticed there was only 2 bidders. They either want them real bad or someone's bidding the price up for the seller.
  6. I have a 970 but haven't used it for SACD, sorry. The only issue i've had is the "Oppo screech" which is an intermittant handshake issue between it and my Anthem which results in a very high pitched tone. A reboot usually eliminates it.
  7. 1700.00 for the pair!!! I only paid 1400.00 for mine brand new at a music store. Talk about appreciation. And yes, they're awesome HT speakers.
  8. I run my RF-7's large for 2ch with the sub off. For HT, I run them small with the THX crossover at 80 HZ. I assumed (bad habit) that the OP was referring to HT.
  9. The shield and ground return path are two seperate conductors and the shield is only connected to the ground return path on one side of the cable. The idea is that EMI currents get shunted away from the device receiving the signal, ultimately reducing the noise floor. This is especially beneficial for long unbalanced connections (like most subwoofer applications) because the chances of picking up EMI increase with the length of the interconnect. Thanks Doc.
  10. I wouldn't think that this would be an issue in a HT environment when you crossover at 60 to 80 Hz. Full range would be another story.
  11. Dee, I've sold 3 of my 402D's but have one left if you're interested. PM me. Carl
  12. Most likely just smoke some Boudain..........yum.
  13. Maybe if we ask nice Amy will sticky this thread. Please????
  14. I can't believe that old Fisher driver didn't hand grenade.
  15. I wonder how many hours/days it took to make it.

  17. This morning, I was reading something in the Update thread (while logged in) and when I went back to the Klipsch Community I was logged off. I toggled back to the update thread and I was still logged in. I ended up having to log back in to go to any other section??
  18. Both are good choices. 3000 cu/ft is a pretty decent sized room, but for mostly music, either should do well. As far as integrating well for music, to me, that's more a function of placement and setup.
  19. Placement, phase and gain, all important, all can make or break your subs performance.
  20. Nuttin' there at the moment (?) Check the one titled "Location" for a new entry today. Somehow I PM'd myself instead of you[]
