Check out this thread from a little while ago. I dig knives, my favorite being with a Nakiri style profile. This one that I just purchased a few weeks ago has totally impressed me. Now that this thread is getting more attention and deservedly so, a few questions come to mind and might be of interest, as they are to me. For those who have or have had the CF3's & CF4's. What differences have you noticed between the two models, sound wise? Do the 4's have a more noticeable bass punch with its 12" drivers? I have read of the 4's being a bit more chesty, as far as vocals are concerned. True or false? The 4's are supposed to have a higher sensitivity, by 2 points. noticed or not? Observations welcomed.

Agreed. That paper does not seem accurate to me. Plenty of late 94's and some early 95's that appear to still be version 1's.

Oy Mates, I see things are quite active and rowdy on this forum since my post yesterday. I had an Aussie girlfriend for a time. Two months into our relationship, I could no longer hear her accent. I found that interesting as I had a girlfriend from England for over 5 years and she always sounded English to me. 😀 I agree with Grasshopper, there should have been a sign, which I'm assuming there was not, at the phone as well as the one down the road, unless of course it was missed.

I was just testing them out to pick one over the other for center duty and to see if I wanted to devote the real estate to a matched pair as surrounds. I sold off the KV, preferring my Mahogany C-7.

I had them on 3 foot high stands in an upright position, just behind and on either side of the couch. Also set them up that way to try as left right speakers. They sounded great that way too.

At the very least, 3 Epics across the front. For a time I had a KV-4 and KLF C-7 in house and set them up as rear speakers. They acquitted themselves quite nicely and are as big a I would go for rear surround duty.

Movies are fine for bass tests, but something from Basstronics, such as Carpet Shaker might be just the ticket, with 10hz notes. For sealed subs as your is, they say.

I think the drivers on the Epics are great too, i'm not surprised they sound better. Probably better power handling as well. The CF4's are rated at 300 watts continuous with 1250 watt peaks. That means they are rated to handle 300 watts continuously for two hours and short bursts up to 1250 watts. Perhaps, on future vids, turn the phone sideways to get a wide shot instead and just leave it in a single place. Sounds great though.

The white residue looks strange. Old glue, mold perhaps. I hope neither. From what I've read, as you move a speaker further from the floor, it decreases the bass output. So, if the bass seems weak to you to you now, that might not be a good idea. Play some bass heavy music and see how they handle it.

Just a little back story on the girl Niamh, in the video above. Her favorite genre of music from her life with Dad, is progressive rock. She started her youtube channel only a month ago and now has nearly 8 thousand subscribers. I subscribed just for the heck of it and make sure to always give her videos a like just to give her channel a bit of support.
