  1. I'd get 'em...if I had the $$. http://cgi.ebay.com/Awsome-set-of-Klipsch-La-Scala-speakers_W0QQitemZ5835493793QQcategoryZ61378QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. http://cgi.ebay.com/KLIPSCH-RC-25-BLACK-CENTER-CHANNEL-ALMOST-NEW_W0QQitemZ5835593286QQcategoryZ116197QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Not mine, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had a surround sound receiver. Looking at completed auctions, they've sold for over $200 + shipping!
  3. Do you regard the RF-35s as being better than the Heresy then? Any recommendation between Forte I or II? Thanks!
  4. I hate going through forum withdrawal. I actually had to spend some time with my wife!! []
  5. At that price range you could look into getting a pair of RF-15s or RF-25s on eBay. I got my RF-25s brand new in the box for $366 + shipping. A huge steal, I know I got lucky. Floorstanding speakers will give you a fuller sound and you probably won't be as anxious to upgrade them for a while.
  6. Many sites view questions like that as a solicitation for others to buy that item. Most sites have rules regarding posting items for sale. Don't take it too personally, the Klipsch site is much more tolerant than many others I visit regularly. [H]
  7. If I were to sell my RF-25s, are there any models that would be worth getting that would be roughly the same $$? I figure I could sell my RF-25s for the $400 range without a problem. Would Heresys be a good replacement? I've never heard speakers that had a midrange horn. Do vocals sound better? I have a powered subwoofer, so bass isn't an issue.
  8. Here's a quote about the speaker wires for the Zu speakers: So, I take it they tell you the 250 hours is the full burn-in time so you are past when you can return them and when you realize these $540 cables sound no different than any other speaker wire?
  9. I think you just disproved your quote... Plus I think in all fairness you should give a little more than 24 hours to make a knee-jerk reaction, especially considering today is a holiday (at least here in the U.S.) and the moderators are probably enjoying themselves and appreciating the fact that they're not sitting in front of a computer babysitting people on here. 10. Did you even start to read what someone else had posted about this: There you go, Mr. Skeptic. [:@]
  11. I'd really like to upgrade to a different subwoofer such as the Sub-12. Most of the subwoofers I've been looking at don't have any RCA outputs, though. I like having the subwoofer amplify the bass and leave the rest for my HK to amplify. I used to use the high level input/output on my sub when I had my Sony receiver hooked up because it didn't have any pre-outs. So why don't more subwoofers have an output section?
  12. Not quite Animusic, but a definite jaw-dropper! http://www.ffmcobalt.com/WizardsofWinter-SM.wmv
  13. See my post here about how to get the first Animusic for less than $10 shipped! http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/637612/ShowPost.aspx
  14. If you go the tube route, get a Sony. If you go projection, get a Mitsubishi. Anything else (LCD, etc), go Samsung.
  15. Here's the deal: Go to http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com and search for Animusic. Once you find it, you'll see that they're selling it for $11.38 INCLUDING shipping. Click on "BUY NOW" and when you're checking out, enter code SUPERSALE in the promotional code box and the DVD is only $9.58 INCLUDING SHIPPING!! [] I also bought the Star Wars trilogy (IV, V, VI) for $36.30 incl. shipping. Pretty much every DVD is an additional 20% off their already low low prices. Oh, and by the way, YOU'RE WELCOME! [H] Code and sale is only good through Saturday 11/19/05, HURRY!

  17. What's wrong with watching movies on nice speakers? If anyone else on here is like me, they have the volume turned up LOUD for most movies. Why not have speakers that can handle it and sound great at the same time? Highest speed limit you'll find in the U.S. is 70mph on some interstates. Are you going to be confused by everyone who drives something other than a Geo Metro? I mean, what's the point of having a car that can do over 70mph if there isn't anywhere legally you can drive that fast?
  18. I'd try between 80hz and 100hz. Experiment with some different music and see. Too high of a setting will have a boomier sound on a lot of subs. Too low of a setting and the sub will hardly ever play.
  19. So did the seller discount them another $10 or something? Looks like $530 to me. Not that big of a bargain then, eh? []
  20. Might be the fact that they're some of the heaviest speakers Klipsch makes. Some macho sales guy thinks he can move them by himself. Or maybe the macho customer trying to convince his wife to get them. "See, honey, I can lift them all by myself....oops! Sorry about that! Hey, you guys ever do scratch and dent sales?"
  21. Done and done. Move your mouse over the word 'Shop' at the top of the screen and click on 'Klipsch @ eBay'
