  1. pm, Tyler ragle is the only one that comes to mind! plays bass and does some background vocals for Richard March.
  2. Cool Josh, I'm from Austin and had many occasions to see JJ. As I'm sure you know he is a great guy and really down to earth. He knows me from my days of working the door at Antione's and several of my old buddies ran bars on 6th street back in my hey day[]
  3. WOW! My system sits in my current sunroom, the dimensions are 12X9 which means my LaScalla's would be just a we bit overkill for that area and that is why my sig says the annual block party! But the rig I have in that room sounds fantastic even without Klipsch in the mix and I have never heard not even once any of these: 1) Excellent Gear (but very nice quite a few times) 2) Never Heard Of It! 3) Good Gear For The Money (once got a holy CR@P, what that cost!) 4) You Really Should Upgrade And try XXX (I generally send snobs packin')[] I paid no where near retail for any of my gear and as a hobby at 49 years old I'm under 10 grand for everything I own in gear and could not be more pleased. I will say I love the sound of the system in either speaker configuration and appreciate both for their qualities and strengths[] My .02 and remember "Rock-N-Roll ain't noise pollution"[]
  4. Colt, I sent you one the other day but never heard back!
  5. I'm going to follow LarryC's path and provide closer spine pic later[]
  6. Colt, not sure if I'll be able to get my photo to post here or if it will be clear enough to tell but I'm posting the first system I bought with my own hard earned Air Force pay! If you will notice I had both a pair of Advent Largers and a pair of JBL L-36's being driven by the Pioneer SX1050 (120WPC) and to this day just like the the 2 way Jub's I just love that sound and always try to figure out how they both still delivered excellent mid range[] <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  7. I know, Kaiser still has cropping issues[:$] Need to be in Colters CS2 class[:'(]
  8. Holy smokes it worked[] RTTR, here I am telling you about my old NAD system when I did not even think about our HT setup because I always pick music over TV! So he does have at least 1 NAD[]
  9. OK fellow posters, Seti has gone over this enough times I should not have forgotten but once again I can't get Photo's to post! I have saved my photo to my Desktop and then used the Options tab to retrieve my pic from my Desktop address and all I see is the unshown photo box! Has something changed again that I'm unaware of?
  10. RTTR, Congrats as I'm a past owner and strong proponent for the NAD name as I believe they did and still offer some of the best bang and quality for the buying dollar period[] I always have trouble posting pics but I'm going to try and post my first NAD rig from 1988!
  11. "I'm trying to pinpoint when this thread "jumped the shark"... and I have it narrowed down to Mullet or Kaisersitstaygoodboy's posts... right around page 3....." Just what I expected from a smart mouthed young punk who's still wet behind the ears! I'm flattered that you remember me at all[] but young punk is obvious[] and no[]
  12. They are absolutely beautiful Hybridamp! I can't believe the UPGRADE squad has not hit you up yet[] Hmm, let me see: New Diags[] New Xovers[] My apologies Hybrid, the DEVIL made me say these things[] Glad to have you aboard as you have now hit the Klipsch Lottery as the forum is filled with fine people and information any and all about Klipsch[H]
  13. Trey, Seti and I should be in there around mid morning on Friday and I should be available for whatever you need help with[] I'll first need to run by the Bank and take care of my Friday Farmhouse reservation but then I should be ready but you know I can't miss the plant in action[]
  14. Colt, I'm half way there on the Glenn Hughes burns! Sure you can't make the Hope trip? Good to see you are back[]
  15. Most excellent reply Cut-Throat as "Warm" was mentioned in the very beginng of this thread but it was based on the over all system sound and I did not hear or see any mention of the bottom end (I think that's still bass)[:|] So much tude, so little time and all this [8] to listen too
  16. Suspicion confimed Tom[] Now if I could just get Clarence to come to the Hope gathering so I could sit down face to face with him[] See Clarence you can poke a little fun as long as its not malicious[]
  17. I see, once again your youth has shot right past the whole point and I still say your comment to Anarchist was rude and uncalled for as with your little snippet of "Grab the popcorn here we go again"! Never said you were not accepted but that you have been prone to attack replies in the past and that is no way to be accepted by anyone. I'm glad you have planned your course well and I truly hope it all works out for you but life has it's way of throwing curve balls just when you think you got down pat. Not that I'm looking for or wanting any kind of sympathy from anyone but I was orphaned at 12 and I am and have been a working class citizen for my 50 years now and I know a smart mouthed kid when I see and hear what they say! You should consider mapping out your replies as well as you say you have your life mapped out and maybe you won't get replies from the likes of me[] As I sit here with my big finger on my chest I do realize just how lucky I am that I'm here today and that regardless of all my trials and tribulations I have come out stronger and happier than you could imagine so take a swipe again and pump yourself up because your ship may be drifting if you don't[]
  18. Same Testor but different Inspectors! I wonder if it's the Inspectors that write the Type and Model on the tag because the writing is obviously different on the type and serial lines! I only say this because they are consecutive serial #'s but written in different print[] I would think Walnut Oil would be right since it is on the type line instead of the serial line[:^)]
  19. I'm with you 100% on that Tom, I think Paul built everything to not be homogenous and for it's special purpose within the Heritage line[] Not to diss todays group and technology because based on that (Overkill) 600 system Trey will be setting up in Hope for us all the new pro line also seems to cater to different applications[H] I really like your comment on other manufacturers just adding a driver or slight cabinet change only makes the line all sound the same or negligeable in difference really. No doubt PWK truly was a pioneer in sound reproduction to the highest level and we here are all very lucky for that fact[]
  20. (everyone isn't a headbanger)[] Who, at 104db I can headbang to Cat Stevens!
  21. Absolutely Anarchist as I'm burning a bunch of old R&R for Colter via your method right now! Clarence, I have called you out before and civility is something you really need to work on along with that patience level[] I'd say 90% of us on this thread are working class and lucky to get a post in here and there during work hours!
  22. Bob, Seti and I are wishing you a fast and speedy recovery from this and our thoughts and prayers are comin' at ya.
  23. Canare makes a very good product RTTR, I have been using their flux digital cables for years and I could tell no difference in the Canare and my old entry level Synergistic which I sold for enough to buy 3 of the Digi-Flux's[] If you wanted to clean the sheath up right buy the break out you can buy a box of shrink wrap tubes for $3.00 at Rat Shack and use a plain old hair dryer to cinch it down and it looks just like the pro boys cables IMHO[]
