  1. Interesting to watch. I'll bet PWK would have liked this guy. [] Thanks for sharing.
  2. Thanks Indy. I thought I saw some dicussion about having it at a different time. Just wanted to be sure. I'll put in for that Friday and Monday. I'm not sure why I'm doing this, but I'm trying to get the wife to come along too. She doesn't care about speakers and such, but I thought she might like to meet D-Tel's Wife (Christy) and some of you other guys. Maybe she'll get interested. [] Hope to see everyone there!
  3. Is June 21 "official" now, or should we wait for an announcement from Amy? (Need to put in for vacation, the sooner the better). Thanks.
  4. Congratulations Paul. A little too big to fit under the tree, eh? Welcome to the club, and Merry Christmas!
  5. I knew him before he was famous! [] Thanks for sharing, Ron.
  6. Wonder if they'll be giving away a set of the prototypes at the Pilgrimage? []
  7. Indy, I know these were the proposed dates, but have they been confirmed by Amy? I've been waiting "the official announcement", but I may have msissed it. I need to put in for vacation too. [<)] Thanks.
  8. Richard, You've got a good memory. I checked and they are indeed B&C KPT904's. I have no idea how they compare to K-69's, but I can tell you this: They sound DARN GOOD! [] Bob
  9. Roy, Perhaps you've done this already and I missed it. If so, I apologize in advance. Would you please give us a comparison between the 402 and 510 drivers? What sonic differences might one expect to hear between the two? Thanks.
  10. Craig, I sent you a PM with contact info. Bob
  11. Craig, If you'd like, you are welcome to come to my house in Bay City and give my Jubes a listen. They do have the 510 horns, and I'm sure my room acoustics are far from perfect. However, IMO they sound much better than my KHorns. How much of that has to do with room setup, electronics, etc. I don't know. I'm far from an expert, but I know what I like.[] Let me know if you're interested. Bob
  12. They look awesome Mike. My wife would absolutely LOVE this. Unfortunately, I'm not a wood worker. I may have missed it, but how are you planning to hold the zebrawood boards in place? Bob
  13. Amen, Brother! I think my Jubes sound GREAT with passive crossovers, but apparently I'm wrong. [] I'd like to find out what I'm missing.
  14. Have a great birthday, Michael! [^] Don't get too crazy at the concert though; remember, you're not as young as you used to be. Maybe you'd better take a couple cans of Rockstar with you, just to be safe.[]
  15. Trey, Has the museum been moved to Indy yet? If so, will we be able to tour it on Saturday (daytime)? If not, what are the chances it'll be ready by next June? Bob
  16. The jumper cables are a nice touch. Just right for those cold Michigan winters. []
  17. Congratulations Bill! They sure look sweet. Plenty of space for the "Big Boy" horns in that room. ENJOY!!!
  18. Oh, i trust you...and that sure sounds like a great deal alright. Alas, I promised Trey he would have dibs on them if I ever sell them. Guess I'd better just hang on to them so no one's feelings get hurt. []
  19. I would like to hear an A/B comparison between passive and electronic crossovers (same speakers, same listening position, everything else the same). Just switch between the two different types of crossovers. Of course, I'd prefer it be done with a pair of Jubes. [] I need to be "convinced" that my Jubes could sound even better with the time delays zeroed out.
  20. Ouch, that is terrible news.[+o(] Main reason of course is the location since a pilgrimage is a journey to a sacred place or shrine of importance to a person's beliefs and faith, which, without question, is Hope. Things that would entice me to journey to Indie would be: K-horn's vs. Jubilee's vs. Palladium. Tubes vs. SS. Vinyl vs. CD's vs. SACD's. Expensive speaker wire and interconnects vs. inexpensive wire. Ten easy and inexpensive steps to improve the acoustics and listening experience in your home. How to repair the finish on old Klipsch speakers. How to restore the sound of old Klipsch speakers. A chance to listen to some of the lesser Klipsch speakers. Couple of laps around the old brickyard. Be a guaranteed winner of a fabulous Klipsch door prize. Great choice of topics, Ron. Colter's new barn, a barrel of Sam Adams...sounds like a great start to a great weekend! Indy is starting to sound pretty good. Getting excited already. []
