  1. Thank you eth2. Maybe someday. Right now i am smoking some st. Louis style ribs. I have 6 hours of drinking beer before they are done
  2. eth2, they would probably sound the best ( to me, now thats just me) in my living room. Hope that helps. Good luck brother
  3. You got me thinking about my center as well as my Yamaha so I played with it. I turned off DRC, and went to the equalizer and turned on the PEQ. It sounds a little clearer. But thats just me. You might give it a shot. It won't cost you anything.
  4. You bet. Its a nice sub.I wish I could afford yours, which is a good price I might add. Its built like tank. It is a shame that they went out of business. I think eD had plenty of people buying there subs, most of the time they were on back order. Maybe bad management. Anyway, good luck on your sell brother
  5. I got that sub. I really like it. Never gave me a bit of problems. I take that back. I have the down firering one. I heard the front firering (like you have) is even better.
  6. I was raised a few miles west of Quapaw Okla were the tornado rip thru there and then hit Baxter Springs Kansas. My sister works at Quapaw school. Bad deal. God bless all tornado victims.

  9. Accessories4less has pretty good prices on refurb Marantz with good warrenty. Pair it with a Emotiva XPA-5.
  10. I downloaded the manual for the KG-300 and I think it says to connect a USB and a optical wire to the computer. I'm not sure if my son's computer has a optical. Maybe I didn't read it right.

My wife and I went to the Farmers Market in Springfield Mo early Saturday morning. I bought 3 rack spare ribs from a vendor. They said they raised there pigs on acorn and whey. The ribs wasn't very long or wide, but they were thick. Also got some fine looking hamburger. I got home and thaw out the ribs only to find out there was 2 racks per package. No meat on the bones. It was hard to tell the bone side from the meat side. I cooked them anyway. They had a good flavor but tuff. I have a Weber kettle and I love it. I use Stubbs briquettes. I go with the snake method/ fuse method, 2 briquette wide, 2 high with apple wood on top of briquettes. I do a C shape with a water pan in the middle. Lite one end and it burns for about 9 hours @ 250 degrees. I do the 321 kinda deal, smoke for 3 hours, wrap in foil with a little Dr. Pepper for 2 hours then back on grill to firm them up for about an hour. They come out real good and have alot of fun.
  17. Mustang Guy, I have to get a data plan but its not unlimited anymore.
  18. Thanks for the info guys. What I like about the iphone is if i buy it from apple using verizon as the carrier(thats my carrier and bro is on family plan) I can get insurance and apple care $99 for 2 years. Samsung dosen't offer that. I will check other makers tommarow. Thanks again
  19. Yes he knows about his bill but the older men at the gymn makes fun of his flip phone. LOL. I guess I'll get him a iphone. None of them look very easy to navigate. The biggest problem is having to run into town every time he has a problem. But I guess that brothers do.
  20. My brother has a flip phone and wants to move up to a smart phone. Looking for something that is simple and very easy to use. My wife has a Iphone 5c. She had to turn everything off ( apps) to keep from using her data up. If she wants to use something she has to turn it on. I think thats BS. We called verizon and they are no help, their making good money off that. My brother get confuse easily and very impatient. I think he is better off with the flip phone but.... Any idea on a good smart phone but not too smart?
