  1. I tried to post this in "Announcements", but it wouldn't let me post.. Is anyone coming from the San Antonio TX area to Hope next week? Gilbert lives in Spring Branch and has a Cornwall for me (just one) and it needs a ride. I will be happy to pay for the honor of letting my Cornwall ride in your car. Any "takers"???? Kevin
  2. Hot Springs is 79 miles from Hope and has an airport that supports small jet traffic. I would offer a ride but I am taking the vette and my wife... Kevin
  3. Doug, I just read this- I am sorry for your loss. I lost my wife in 2002 from cancer. Keep your head up and remember the good times and the joy she shared with you and others around her. That is her legacy. She is in better hands now... Kevin
  4. He just added this: On Jan-11-10 at 07:56:33 PST, seller added the following information: THE SERIALS ARE 36R851 AND 36R852 THERE IS NO G IN THE SERIAL.. MY APOLOGY TO THE KLIPSCH WORLD!

  7. Sounds like a novel and blockbuster movie in the making. Where is Jimmy Stewart when we need him...
  8. Happy 10th anniversary on the forum WF! Thanks for all your contributions! Kevin G.
  9. I ran into a friend who said her Mother worked for years in Hot Springs for Klipsch. I didn't know the factory had a facility here. Anyone have any history on it? KG
  10. I'm going to Hope this week, so I may have to stop by the museum. Last time I was there the guy was locking up and heading out for the day, so all I have seen is the pics posted here. KG
  11. Beautiful float when the water is up.. We usually put in at Ponca. KG
  12. Dee Count me in- I will be there. We can also take care of the surround sound box if you still have it. Kevin G.
  13. Imagine going to a bar and seeing Stevie Ray Vaughn and then walking to the bar next door and seeing Johnie lang or Kenny Wayne Sheppard . This is obviously an exaggeration but the live music talent is amazing I saw Stevie Ray in '85 or '86 at the Orpheum downtown and Johnnie Lang did a talent show on Beale before he signed his record deal, and Kenny Wayne played at Memphis in May. So it's not really an exaggeration (well, for Stevie Ray I guess it would be). Great music history with Stax, Ardent and Sun studios, as well as many others. Oh yea, a little place called Graceland too... dig that shag carpet in the Jungle Room... KG
  14. When I moved to Memphis in '85 Beale Street only had a few stores open and were begging retailers and clubs to move in. Now you couldn't get a lease if you wanted one. All of downtown has improved dramatically since then. The baseball Cardinals triple A ballpark is a couple of blocks from Beale-it's nicer than most major league stadiums. Glad to be in Hot Springs after 21 years in Memphis, but I do miss my friends and the music. Hope you had fun TB... KG
  15. You can use a hair dryer to heat up the label and slowly pull it off. The heat loosens the glue and the whole label will peel off. kg
  16. Mark How is your ST-120 holding up? Still happy with the results? Kevin
  17. You can withdraw $400.00 a day cash with your Paypal debit card from an ATM- actually only $390.00 a day, since there is usually a bank fee that is applied. It only takes me 2 business days to receive a transfer into my checking or money market account when I request a transfer. BTW, next month is my 10th year on Ebay-100% feedback on almost 900 transactions! Yea! kg
