hope you enjoy the trip. i've been a couple of times. been to oahu, big island, maui, kauai--had a nice time on all the islands. by reading this thread, i must be in the minority; because i love waikiki. at night, it was like walking down the strip at in vegas; but, i don't at all mind the people and activity, never was much for seclusion. And more importantly, the weather suited me better on that side of the island. i have chronic asthma and didn't have any trouble breathing when i stayed at waikiki--the air definitely felt different on the other side of the island, and after a few hours there, i was reaching for my inhaler. Drove all over Kauai and took some great pictures--and saw some waterfalls and the blowhole. I'd go back again...and hope too.

Great I must have toasted way to many brain cells over the years, I just realized the 4 20 date in all of this. If I were smart, which we have a conclusion on already I should try to save the last few cells, but why bother at this point really? i'd loan you mine; but it's the last brain cell that i have left.

i watched the first night landing of the shuttle at edwards air force base.

i got off easier than i expected and easier than i have the past several years. i only have to pay $2400; but, still i could buy some nice speakers with $2400. just finishing my diet coke from dinner and then my new favorite beverage--that Sobe LifeWater, zero calories. hope everyone is doing well tonite. two hours of letting klipsch ruin what little is left of my serviceable hearing. I wonder if i can sue some of these rock bands--there music sounds so good at high volume. don't ask me tomorrow night, i have to force myself to go to a laundramat as i'm down to my last shirt, and i can't keep buying new clothes instead of washing the dirty ones. i think 20 pair of levis are enough. ah, yes...the exciting bachelor life. oh, and i ate chinese food tonite for dinner--i'm sure you're happy for me.

I like the way you think. You sure were not related, didn't think I had relatives on that coast also ? who knows. i'm half portuguese (from the azore islands of faial and flores); but, the other side of the family is from Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina. Which is closer to your neck of the woods. But, we're all Klipsch Brothers at least.

was sit and watch tv for 4.5 hours. got fast food for dinner on my way home, sat down to eat, and didn't get up until a few minutes ago. whew! what an exhausting evening...think I'll go to bed now.
