    RB-81II

For a pair, that would of been a sweet deal!
  3. I've unfortunately only ever heard the RP series at a Fry's near my house. What I heard was good, but there were definitely not in a ideal place to really do any sort of critical listening. What I can say for sure is the RF7/RC64 is a winning combo. I've had my these speakers for a few years now and I've been pleased as punch with that setup. Like others have said, the Reference II are on their way out, find yourself a deal and don't look back.
  4. Never thought I'd hear you say something like that bout the rc-64
  5. The 7 II's are some amazing speakers, and they surely do love power. I've been very happy with the XPA-2 powering them.
  6. When you say cannot connect to a computer do you mean as a monitor? If so they make adapters for DVI or D-Sub to hdmi so you can hook up your computer and use it for a monitor.
  7. Got my Panasonic and Sammy from Best Buy. They priced matched the Panny and I found the Sammy deeply discounted and could not leave the store without it. I've heard Costco has some good deals. With plasma out and LED's being king atm till OLEDS become more affordable I'd look into a FALD (Full Array Local Dimming) Led tv. They tend to produce better blacks, and better overall PQ than their side lit cousins,
  8. I too would be interested in your thoughts on the two subs.
  9. Thanks for taking the time to read! They are definitely up at the top of my personal favorites now!
  10. Most definitely! As I said before the Scalas are amazing, and I just love their sound more and more each day. Interesting side note, since my wife and I have been married I've always had some form of speaker setup up in our living room, this has included, cornwalls, heresys, forte's, RF-7 II's ht, and so on. Up until the Scalas she has never took the time herself to turn my setup up on and listen to music on her own. So if you are on the fence I say jump off of it and get you some Scalas asap! Second side note, if you do end up picking up a pair just have in mind they won't dig as deep as your CW's do, BUT the bass is SUPER tight and accurate, different from the CW direct radiating bass.
  11. The 7's will put a smile on your face with the power you're gonna feed them.
  12. Knock on wood but my Promedia 5.1 Ultras are still going strong =D As much as I would love to replace them when they finally go I understand that a system like that isn't a viable option for Klipsch to offer any more.
  13. I think if for nothing else, change. We've technically have had three releases of the RF-7, the original, the "Classic" and the RF-7 II.
  14. Just my $.02, but IMO I don't think they'll go down the RF-7 route again, I'm thinking they might release something like the RF-83 and 63 or something new altogether. I have nothing to base this on just a gut feeling.
  15. What the... Where's all this coming from?
  16. Picked up a Logitech Harmony Smart Control with Smartphone App and Simple Remote. Not the fanciest one out there, but it sure does make life more convenient with just one remote to rule them all. Plus the wife doesn't complain about all the remotes anymore and can work the ht by herself now
  17. So having more listening time with the La Scalas for the past couple weeks, I can say with all confidence they are one of my favorite Klipsch speakers that I have ever heard. The big, clean sound they provide is very satisfying, and I can see why someone would make a HT system out of them. With that being said I will be putting my Chorus II's up for sale soon..
  18. Man wished I snagged one these up on the cheap when I had the chance, they usually end up being pretty expensive. GLWS
  19. Such beauties! Hopefully they'll sell quick!
  20. Dang scrap, you sell a kidney? =P nice bro, have fun with your setup.
  21. Sorry to hear of your experience but don't let this one faulty product tarnish the company. Klipsch has been around for decades making quality audio equipment that many many people enjoy on a daily basis. Who did you deal with for the warranty process?
