For the money, look at Onkyo....that have a great line and are priced well within your budget,plus have great sound.

Hiend, Though SS is not popular on this form. I use a Creek Integrated Amp and really like it. Cambridge Audio has an nice int amp with out a phono plug that you can purchase new from dealers for about 300.oo. It uses the Creek componets and is highly rated.... just MHO..

m00n, On a seperate piece of wood ;try a product called Formbys furniture refinishing. It takes out small scratches and cleans the wood. It comes with excellent directions, and I have had a lot of luck with it. It also doesn't smell up the house.... just my 2cents........

You really need to have your Mom check with her credit card company. By what you explained, you told them to cancel the order, because her card had been declined. Because you told them this It is not a valid sale And they did not have the Right to charge your moms card. Talk with them first, then if you get the run around, go through your credit card company and have them put pressure on the company! Shaddy at best..........good luck.

Cyridel, I found that most of the Brand name crt's on the market are good. If you have a Sams Club in your area, and are a member, you can get some great deals on 19" Monitors.
