for surrounds they will do ok, also for back ground music, they do OK. If you want real punch you might consider using the 7800 thx in walls, as in ceilings. Really is a personal choice. There is price difference is there but they are fairly reasonable. look at the KS-7800-thx.

That must have been way cool, I used to live in FL and got to see a few launches[] we even flew over the launch site once. Flying a Cesna, long story but after yelling at us for a few minutes they told us to stay straight and level or else!!!! OK gang, as many have heard I bought a pair of KHORNs from Charles, then I was able to get a pair of heresy's one is now my center channel. I am using KSP-S6 as surrounds. My question is before I sell the other heresy, should I consider going to 6.1? My concern is I would have to mount it low and very close to the listening position, less than 3'. So i'm guesing is a no go just wanted a bit of input..

2. First off going from an effency of 88db to 98db, you will think your amp has grown a heart. The rf-82's are much easier to push. 3. horn loaded drivers play well together, these (rf-82) would be a much better match for your rs-35, maybe not perfect but much closer than what you have. 1. most of a movies sound comes from the center speaker, big improvement there, the rf-82 mains would then give you a more realistic sound stage.

I agree that your current issue will be solved with seperates... that said those of of with seperates never stop upgrading..... I't not just an HT, it's an adventure!!

I read the manual looking for error messages..... Anyway I'm still a bit confused about the audio, with the optical out, set to bitstream am I getting 5.1/7.1? And if it's set tt PCM the manual makes me think all you get is stereo?....feel free to eleobrate... Thanks
