  1. Lol, I have a good imagination. Spent 4 hours yesterday just to sell a craigslist deal local. Dud had large Akai speakers that sounded pretty decent now. Some Kappa.6.1 that sounded well, alright. Some baby advents and amazingly to me, some Mordaunt Short monitor hooked to his Pioneer PL-518 TT powered by an 80 wpc simple Audiosource through a mixer. After hearing a new to me group through diff.. gear the TT playing a mintish Aja lp never sounded finer to me. He offered to let me thumb through his stack but, I was so mortified by the condition of the covers, that I passed it up due to envy on my part. You just never know, and yes, we had much in common. What a hoot!
  2. You got some going on now...keep them a coming...nice 🦊

Just remember good friend to not say...Never say never again. I have said it and, like mom said to me, never say you will never do something again, or you may well end up doing it again. Yet the very best of Good Fortune to you. Respect your intentions and hope our paths meet one day. Or here on the forum...again.

  15. Jones, I recall now. There was a guy I knew slightly from my hometown. Visiting him with a friend(Coconut Grove), recall him saying he doubted he would live past 28 so, yes. He lived past that frame in time however.
  16. Did not know that. There are 3 I can recall now. Know there are others. A heck of a way to be a member...JJ JH JM
  17. All of this sounds good. Yesterday I saw some wooly caterpillar types you do not want to touch. While swingblading (slingblading) a right of way, a guy I knew well got one on his arm, another time, I was wearing gloves working when a ground wasp flew into my glove for a sting. Both times, an oldtimer on the crew gave us first aid. He wet some Red Man chewing tobacco and wet it and told me to hold it on bite. Another time, I saw him use a little gas on a rag and do the same. Think he said that it would have worked better if tobacco had been chewed first.(maybe an enzyme thing). The wooly caterpillar, recall dude going to the hospital for. In a pinch, always have white vinegar in the car just in case. It is of use immediately in case of jellyfish contact. Would advise to apply liberally with spray bottle and soaking into a napkin, towel... If I am bitten and have a anaphylactic reaction and did not have an epi-pen, I would have no compunction of using it for other emergency uses, until you can get medical attention. Sister in law carries a pen with her for bee/wasp stings. Thanks! BTW, was not on the chaingang, lol Edit: and we all know what to do for stinging nettles...🤣
  18. There was a contest think*Amy posted several years back where Paul was standing by, I think a Cessna 150 or 72 model, an old B&W picture. The contest was about a caption for the photo. I lost the contest...thanks!(may be wrong)

  22. Welp, just realizing page 200...Had considered doing this later but been on my mind lately. Saw Seger more than once I can attest to. Have shown, maybe all my early copies on lp. Have had all up to around 80 then tapered off. This band with Teagarden and Van Winkle saw at Campbell Stadium in Tally. A good collaboration I say. Some songs appeared on the famous Silver Bullet Band...live as you know:
