  1. Now is that Klipsch time or real time? Works like dog years...
  2. I second the Sony recommendation...NS/700P is the one I recently purchased...$279 locally + tax. Has progressive scan and 3/2 pulldown. Works great for DVD's. I suppose it would be fine for CD's if you needed. I use a Denon 1650AR for Cd's.
  3. Any link for a webcam at Hope, showing them building new Heritage speakers?
  4. No...turn down the volume or upgrade
  5. I have seen several posts in here about the unavailability of Klipsch dealers that have full product line set up to audition. I, for one, have not heard any of the Legend stuff or the new Reference series. However, there are some folks that have not heard alot of the Heritage stuff. Anyone interested in this????
  6. My first meeting with Klipsch was in the mid sixties. I used to ride my bike a short distance from my folks house in Torrance, Ca. to Gardena Hi-Fi. Back then of course there was only the Heritage series. I was just enamored with K-Horns and would bring my Beatle alblums in and kick back on the overstuffed couch and dream of the day when I could afford these babies. Always showed up for the MacIntosh clinics that they periodocally had. I was a Gardena Hi-fi groupie. Got exposed to alot of blues, jazz and classical recordings there. Anyways, after starting with Cerwin Vega 217R's with a huge Marantz receiver, then Dalquist DQ 10's, was finally able to get My K-horns in 1980 (new) and added my Belle ctr channel in 1980. Have had a few amp and preamp combo's since, but have stuck with my Klipsch. Thanks Gardena Hi-Fi for putting up with a pimple faced teenager and steering him in the right direction.... Viva Klipsch!!!!!!!!!
  7. The width might be a problem then, especially if you have a monster TV. It would support the weight, but you might need to fashion a base to handle the overhang....
  8. I've alwys understood the Belle to be a finished version of the LS ??? The height of the TV is perfect for me, but I have a big room and am able to get back from it. Try it....
  9. As you can see I've been using my center channel Belle for the tv. I have had had no problems with shielding or such. I however braced the speaker with a couple of 2x4's as recommended by Trey. I have cranked them up on occasion without any problems, but the center runs 6db below the K-horns in my setup....Rock on

  12. It would be cheaper to buy better speakers....
  13. Ross, I agree with you....The quality of this BB has gone in the toilet lately
  14. Dave, There has been several posts on this subject recently. Do a search, or e-mail me if you wish and I'll send you the "Dope from Hope" issue that deals with this. I copied my resistor box from Al Klappenberger. There are several ways to go depending on your equipment. Best way is from a preamp out to a mono amp with a gain control and onto the center channel, but can be done from speaker level outputs if you have a receiver or integrated amp. I'll send you my box that I used to use with my integrated if you want. I've saved it, but don't need it. Fred

  19. Erdric: The book stores are not chocked full of books on our hobby. I have this book and it's full of good info. It was written by a human who has his own preferences as do you or I.
