I generally just put my Integra DHC 80.3 in Leather Chair Mode before running Audyessy.... Works for me G.E.M

Yea, Stick around..... As far as your friend.... Tell him to get his hands off your Fricken nobbs. As far as power. I currently run a 200 watt X 7 system only one pair of my speakers are rated to handle more than 100 continusly. I listen to everything from classical to rock..... I love my Montrose LOUD..... I think my ears give in before my Klipsch do...... But then again.. The average age of my Klipsch speakers is about 20 years old.... And I am almost 60. So maybe my ears are shot... I know my Chorus II's aren't. G.E.M

As I said before..... The KG5.5's are the best speakers I wish I never sold. G.E.M

Fix them up......and this time keep them out of traffic....probable going to cost less than a grand to fix....better than a lot of things out there. Drivers can be had.... http://reconingspeakers.com/product/klipsch-rf7-k1089av-10-woofer/ G.E.M.

If we're looking for a good receiver with pre outs and didn't care about Atmos..... I probably get one of those Cambridge Audio 7.1 that Accessories4less sells. I think it's the 551R G.E.M

I used Bob's crossovers on my Chorus II's and my Forte's.... Probably do the same on my Quartets..... Definitely an improvement. At least do the caps G. E. M.

Hey! Happy Thanksgiving....... Leave the political sh.. out of it

I said a while back in the " What I got today" topic that I bought these for a winter project. I had yesterday off work ...so I started a little early. Started stripping at 6:15 am finished around noon.....Look what I found....underneath the black lacquer...beautiful walnut. Looks like i am going to d a walnut oiled thing....only one issue ....the risers are oak. Going to have to do a little matching Check it out. Still got to do some sanding before oil and reassembly. Thanks, G.E.M.

Derrick, Think about this..... It appears from the photos that the entrance to the room is just in front of where the phone is mounted to the wall. This should remain a walkway. Just to the left of the walkway is the front edge of coffee centered to the screen. Your couch instead of being set like a "L..... Set it up like "V" with the coffee table in the center. Those big *** subs should go behind the "V" shaped seating area in an array ... 2 angled in from each outside wall and 2 more closed to the center. As far as that chair and foot stool. That needs to go all the way to the back of the room..... Just a thought G.E.M

Derrick, That the wall is much better than the way it was before...Now you just got to move couch a little. G.E.M.
