I have the same problem with CDR media and my Panasonic car unit. It won't play the darker blue TDK discs, but will play lighter blue (Memorex, etc..) just fine. My old Alpine wouldn't play the lighter blue so most of my CDs are TDK, and when I got my new Panasonic it wouldn't play them. Talk about frustrating.

Ugh, Aiwa I had one of their bookshelf systems awhile ago. That thing quit reading cd's like a year into having it. I hated that thing. My brother had a portable cd player and it bit the dust too about 4 months after he got it. Aiwa sucks.

LOL. I'll start paying for CD's when the price becomes reasonable.

Yeah, the Hollywood theater there sucks. It amazes me, actually. If AMC were to open a theater there, they'd make a killing. Why they haven't is beyond me. Worst movie experience? When I went to see Star Wars Ep. 2 at the special "digital" picture that was only being used for that movie. Only so many movie theaters had it. There was this annoying blue dot right in the middle of the screen the whole movie. I'm not sure how it got there, and it wasn't something like candy stuck on the screen. I think the transmission was screwed up somehow (Wasn't it transmitted via satellite?). Oh and Justin, did you get to see any hot sorority girls?

I'd be interested in the KV3. Will you sell individual items?

Has anyone heard their "Splitting the DNA" CD? Some good stuff on there.

I like Hybrid Theory, but what is this Reanimation crap? Isn't it the same songs just redone? I'm not going to pay money for that.

Klipsch are far superior IMO. I despise my Polk center eveytime I watch a movie and the sound moves across the front. When it hits the Polk it's like someone threw a blanket over my head. I'd replace it, but I plan on starting over in a couple years when I get done with school (for the second time ) and can afford it.

Panasonic RP-56 can be had for under $200 and is just as good as the Denon for less IMO. If you want DVD Audio, the RP-91 would be a little more expensive but still less than a similarly equipped Denon.

Hmmm, I'm not sure if all of these are MAMA worthy, but to add on to the others listed: Good Will Hunting Contact The Professional The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands (I love Tim Burton movies) 12 Monkeys Swingers Seven John Carpenter's "The Thing" The Others was a good flick. Mulholland Drive was definitely a thinker. Strange, strange movie though.
