  1. Thanks dtel hoping someone will help.
  2. I have never used a pair of subs but I did use a single SVS PB-10 with my H2's and it sounded great. I had to buy a Paradigm X-30 that I used with it and that little X-30 really let you dial it in. I would have kept that setup but a sub is not needed with my Chorus 2's!
  3. Hello fellow Klipschters! I have a small problem that I'm hoping someone can help me with. Last night I set down with my favorite beverage of choice popped in some Hotel California and pushed play..ut oh only one speaker was playing. I checked all the usually connections both Chorus II's were hooked up. Some background, I have noticed a scratchy type noise coming from my speakers for a few months and then a couple of days ago the scratchy noise got worse on one of the channels this channel is the one that went out. I unhooked the Peach and ran my source directly to my little Dayton amp. With the source hooked directly to the amp it plays just fine so I know the speakers are fine as well as the amp my suspicion is the peach. I'm new to tubes so I do not know how to troubleshoot my Juicy Music Peach. Is there a particular tube that runs the right channel? Is there some troubleshooting that I can do that will isolate the problem? I have owned the Peach for a few years and have never had a problem with it nor have I replaced any tubes in it. If anyone has some suggestions please let me know as I'm at a loss on what to do.
  4. Hmmm ill check them out thanks!
  5. Heck yes awesome for sure Imreally like the new Slash and Call Me No One Cd's as well!
  6. Yes great song and if you like it you will like most of the songs off that CD. Also might not be your cup of tea but since you mentioned Alter Bridge. Mark Tremonti has a side project he just release it. Do a search for Mark Tremonti All I Was to sample it, might be a little to hard but Marks voice and playing are awesome.
  7. Very nice looking setup I bet it sounds superb! What tube amp is that?
  8. I agree with TIm, I've owned Forte 2 and now Chorus 2 and for me the Chorus 2 beat the Forte 2 in all departments.
  9. WOW that is good to know only an hour ride for me so I may take a ride over there and check that place out. I would really like to hear the H III as i love my H II's!

  15. I really hope you're right. Lord willing and the creek don't rise I'll be picking up my first pair of Chorus IIs this coming Wednesday morning. Over the many years I've had Belles, Heresys, Forte's, Cornwalls, Quartets, La Scalas, Cornscalas, and a couple of different KG models. These will be my first Chorus. Be prepared to be amazed !! It's Thursday did you get em?

  20. Well I can finally stop looking for the right speaker for my listening room. I have been through several different speakers. Started off with the little Heresy II's, very nice speakers that I still own they just did not have the bass I was looking for. However coupled with my SVS sub and X-30 crossover they sounded very good. I will pass these on to my son when the time comes. Next I moved to the Cornwall I. This was my main listening speaker for several months I used a Nakamichi TA-2A receiver and to me they sounded better on that receiver than they did with my MC2105/Peach combo. In the end it came to floor real estate and I really didn't have the room for a washer and dryer footprint not to mention I wasn't doing them justice in my little listening room, sad day when I sold these. Next up was the Forte II. WOW what a fantastic all around speaker these sounded wonderful in my room and to be honest I would have been very happy with these. I love the midrange and the bass these produce not to mention they have a small footprint, my second favorite speaker that I've owned. After that I bought a set of KLF 20's because like my forum name suggest I love ROCK music and I had always heard how great these are with ROCK. These are exactly that a great rock speaker with killer bass but once again my listening room did not match well with them. I had them in the living room for awhile and they REALLY opened up, I would have kept these but they did not pass the WAF, so off to a fellow forum member they went. Lastly i scored a set of Chorus II's semi-locally and just had to give them a shot. They are for me with my equipment in my room the perfect speaker. I love how fluid the midrange is and the bass response is more than I expected. I really thought like the cornwalls and KLF's that they would prove to be to much for my room but there not an amazing speaker they do everything well and to me better than the Forte II's I own, best way I can describe them is they are Forte's on steroids, everything the Forte's do the Chorus does a little better. Anyway that's it my journey is complete I even made a map to show my travels along the way. I'm on a MAC so I'll just have to throw the URL on here just copy/paste it into for browser. Best of luck to those that are still on their own journey, I've had a blast!! http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=203692743623774726933.0004ba573a9408ef4ea48&msa=0&ll=35.924645,-92.416992&spn=23.689271,42.319336
  21. I'm finally done searching for the right speaker for my room.
  22. Yes I think an external amp will be the most rewarding. However I currently have my KLF 20's on a Marantz SR5005 and they sound well BOOOOOM! It's usually better to have separates but at your price point that is gonna be hard to do given these 20's LOVE power.
  23. Correct sir I'm seeking Chorus 2's. I've heard these and they are impressive but I have not heard a set in my room with my gear and music style...... should be a fun shoot out Forte 2, KLF 20 and Chorus 2's.
