I paid probably around $2.25 a meter for what I use. And I chose it for how it looks once I realized what I built into the walls was not sufficient. My opinion is save your money on cables and put it where it counts...on your speakers.

Don't know about tweeters but I have experienced other electronic devices read continuity with a meter but then when you put current through them (or try to) it is NOGO.
I think he has La Scalas......
All my speaker cables in the 2 channel room are over 8 meters. Amp rack is remotely located in utility room. The longer the speaker cable the greater in size it needs to be to keep resistance loss as low as the shorter cable. Will there be a small loss in the higher frequencies because of more capacitance and inductance? Probably. Can you hear it? Only your ears will tell you that. Turn up the treble control or EQ on the high freqs.
Star Quad cable for speaker cable is overkill IMHO.
It took TWO per side for sufficient low frequency response IIRC. If the LF cabinet being used goes higher one might be able to get just 1 per side to suffice. I mean Heil does so why not.
GLWYS...again...can't believe someone hasn't stolen away with these at this price.
To a prospective buyer....remember you could change these to a 2 way active UG Jubilee without too much trouble.
just the BASIC cutoff freq of an LC lowpass filter..I think the keyboard here will make it not exactly how I would write it on a piece of paper
Fc = 1/2 x Pi x SqRt of L x C.
@The History Kid just saw this. Good deal on the RSW-15 but what the heck on the Parasound? Is just the output jack fried? Or do you see circuitry arond it burnt or what?
So your meter responds to the tweeter terminals on the good crossover but on bad one shows nothing? Verify there is signal at first 2uf cap on the left, then follow through to the output.
