  1. Just received my Walnut case, from Alan, and what a fine piece of craftsmanship as well as a very fine looking case. If you are in the market for a case, Alan is "THE MAN" to talk to. The one I purchased is probably the one Alan posted a picture of earlier in this thread. It looks excellent in the picture, but even more impressive in person. Thanks again, Alan!!! JJ
  2. No Preference in regards to color... But Size Matters!!! TALL SIZES!! PLEASE!! JJ
  3. Thank You Everyone for your help and input regarding my search for a Scott Case. I'm in contact with Alan and I'm sure that he will have the right case for my amp. Thanks Again Everyone!!! JJ
  4. Not used to having choices!!![] Wood is preferred, but metal will work. Thanks, Rplace. JJ
  5. Hi: I'm looking for a case for my Scott 299c. They do come up on eBay and Audiogon, but it doesn't happen very often. So, if anyone has one for sale or knows where I can find one, please e-mail or PM me. Thanks in advance for your help. JJ
  6. The pilgrimage just wouldn't be the same without Parrot, NOSValves, DeanG, boomac, j-malotky and Seadog in attendance. I hope smilin can make it too this year? I agree!!! Listening to Craig and Dean razzing each other was worth the price of admission at Last year's Indy's pilgrimage. JJ
  7. I can help you out with Speaker #1 Finish=Birch Lacquer Date: Built on the 143 day of 1992 Speaker #2: Finish= Birch Laquer Date: ??? JJ
  8. Nice looking pair of LS For Sale in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. I'm not the seller or have any affiliation with the seller etc..... http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ele/129194199.html JJ [EDITED] Took out my comment/opinion about the price. Just didn't want this post to become anything more than what was intended which was to call attention to a Klipsch For Sale Ad.
  9. The Web Admin is working on the search engine. I believe they are waiting on an upgrade that will hopefully make it more stable all arround. Google is just a temporary work around. JJ
  10. Avia out of date?? I still use it... but then again I'm kinda out of date as well. [] You can also check out Digital Video Essentials... Maybe some others will chime in and give a few more suggestions. JJ
  11. So, Johnny dB......How did your trip go? I always enjoy reading about peoples' adventures in regards to their Klipsch speaker purchases. JJ
  12. Rusty: What ever you decide, you'll see improvement, maybe a significant improvement. I had Bob refreshen my AA's for my '78 K-Horns and now Ithey sound like new. I have just finished installing a set of Bob's A/AA's in my '87 Belles (they had the dreaded AB's). My CD player went south on me so I'll have to table my report on how well they sound with the new crossovers. Listen to Al and Bob, Rusty, they know what they are talking about. JJ
  13. I tried again to send the Seller a questions and this time it went through... Here was my Q to the seller... "Very nice set of Belle's you have there. I have a few questions.. 1. What year are these Belle's? If unknown, just provide me the S/N and I can determine the year they were built. 2. Your Belles look a little different than my '87's. What are the dimensions of these speakers? 3. last but not least, what is the BIN $ amt you mentioned in the item listing? Thanks in advance for your repsonse. JJ ===== JJ
  14. I just tried to contact the seller and it wouldn't go through because..... "You are attempting to communicate to an invalid recipient" It appears that something is happening.. JJ.
  15. I had the same thought as well.. Either we are smoking the same thing or there may be something to this. JJ
  16. Where were the "Twins" during all this? Hopefully they are safe and sound!! JJ
  17. I had Bob Freshen up my AA's for my '78 K-horns and there was a HUGE!! difference. My crossovers were in really bad shape even though from the naked eye, they looked fine. Just for the record, I didn't do the BEC smell test. [] Best bang for buck upgrade, IMO. JJ
  18. Thanks for the Heads up, Wuzzer!!! Usually don't see this caliber of Klipsch showing up on the Cragslist in the MPLS/ST Paul area. Wish I was in the market for Reference speakers. JJ
  19. Not sure how many I can fit in my mouth at one time..But... Judging from the empty tin foil wrappers in my pockets at the end of each day, I sure could give the Worlds Largest ball of Twine a run for its money. JJ
  20. Be Strong, My Friend!!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers!! JJ
