  1. For a better Emotiva type compnay, I would give http://www.outlawaudio.com/ a good look. If I get another amp, I would go with them. Their 7125 model looks pretty good for my setup.
  2. I did not. I modified the bracket to match the mounting threads of the speaker.
  3. Different horn, and I'm pretty sure its a different woofer driver as well. The front three i built are extremely efficient. At the moment I just have them powered from my AVR (Denon 4311) and every speaker is working great. They still have the same level of detail and impact that they did when being driven by the XPA-5. Also, they are far easier to balance as well.
  4. So, are these real walnut? Or is it more of the OAK with walnut stain like the RF-7 IIs have been getting lately?
  5. Likely from early Reference stuff, IE RC-7, RF-7. Shoot me an offer...
  6. Love these speakers so much I got 2 more for the rear. This time the mounting was easy. Shout out to Spencer and American Cinema for the quick service and fast shipping. it was a 3 day turn around.
  7. Hey Dave, Instead of 8000m I would go 8060h instead. They have bigger drivers and horns, but are in the same size footprint. They are slightly heavier. They are a hell of a surround speaker.

When does the sale on surplus speakers begin?
  9. I have a pair of 75's I might be willing to part with. I don't have the boxes though, so they would need to be professional packaged. Where are you located?
  10. That is weird, never even knew you could vote on topics... I didn't either...I voted 5 stars!
  11. Thinking about moving onto Fortes instead. Would anyone be interested in these KG4s?
  12. If these were version IIs I'd be at your house tonight...
  13. That's understandable. He SHOULD notify the forum if he has backed out, there were others interested! Roger Trust me dude, no one on here says anything about something they are interested in until they pass on it.
  14. SOLD Very good condition. Works great, but no longer needed with the efficiency of the speakers. I am the original owner. The unit was purchased on 12/2011, so it has a little over 1 year left on the warranty. Looking for 600+ Shipping. I still have the original double box packaging & Manual. Located in 52203. I more than welcome local pick up, shipping will not be cheap, this thing is very heavy and large in size. Thank you.
  15. Ahh - Missed the impressions on the wood. Good call. And for shame on Klipsch. Worst matching veneer for serials I've ever seen.
  16. Did you even open the photos of the labels? You can't see anything, its almost like they are wiped clean...
  17. doubt anyone on this board touches those with a 10 foot pole.
  18. You sure those are the serial numbers? I've never seen sequential numbers and such mis-matched veneer.
  19. Trying to figure out what #19 grill is. I see that the Chorus was available in #19 and #20 grills. Considering this...I have to go to Wyoming here in a few weeks, so I'd be in the "neighborhood" Still, new or not, part of me wants to know what the veneer pattern looks like before I purchase.
  20. Raising the price of the K-Horns will only inflate the used market.
  21. Last quote I got on new Jubs were like a little over 3 a piece. Not the best looking, as they are KPT...but still.
