  1. That's way too young to have her looking for the best placement of your F-20..... [] Beautiful little girl Thaddeus ! You are truly blessed!
  2. What's the point of posting in this thread if you don't add any comments? Audio quality, cinema quality, audio format, over all story line etc........ ???????????????????
  3. Good luck! Very nice pictures. I'm glad HGTV is a cable station there because here it means "Honey Get The Vacuum" [:@]
  4. Assuming the laminate floor was installed properly, there should be a minimum 1/4" gap around the perimeter between the laminate and the wall to allow for expansion and contraction. If that path works, maybe pull a piece of the quarter round to see what space is available......just a thought.
  5. I use Plano plastic boxes that store into a bigger plastic case. It's basically a tackle box but each removable plastic box is great to just coil various cables into. They also have snap in tabs that you can use to configure smaller compartments for adapters, connectors, banana plugs, etc....... They are very inexpensive and quite sturdy. Bass Pro Shops, Dick's Sporting Goods or even Wal-Mart carry a variety of options. Example
  6. The mortgage company would have to pry this from my cold dead fingers. One of the BEST set ups I have yet to see!! Magazine cover / feature article quality! Enjoy!
  7. Ditto! I called ASD for B stock as well but they were out at the time also. Mike made me a killer deal on A stock with the center and they were all very dark.....and sexy! BTW.....Welcome to the forum!
  8. I have 2 RW-12D in my set up. They are ok for HT but so so for music. If I had to do it again, I would of held out for something that digs much deeper. The NE sale was too good to pass on at the time. The addition of Audyssey XT32 has made quite a difference but even so I'd still do something different If I had the chance to do it again......
  9. I'm running dual HDMI outs. The extra "hdmi sub" out is connected to a tv in the kitchen which is about 40 ft. away from the processor. I've only had it just shy of a month now but so far no problems at all with interruptions, signal problems, etc....... The new Onkyo's beginning with the 515 support dual outputs. If you require pre outs however, that starts with the 616 model. Note: The kitchen tv does not support ARC so I can't comment on that aspect.
  10. The level on each speaker has probably been set lower after running audyssey set up. That's why it sounds less loud at the same volume setting. Mine were set to their lowest (-12) so I just bumped them all up equally. Basically the same result as turning up the volume. Also if your using a sub, set all speakers to small and set your x/o at 80hz. You can raise the crossover higher than audyssey set, but not lower. Just experiment and find what sounds best to you....
  11. You should create a list of your equipment in your signature. That would allow less questions while being assisted.
  12. Good deal. Now you are one step closer. I personally would have a hard time not using them so more power to you!
  13. Congrats on the new center. Glad it came out ok. Did you buy 7II's already or that's the next step?
  14. Nice combination. You should be very happy with the results. Also nice to see one of Warren Buffets companies as a Klipsch dealer! The company I work for is also under his umbrella......good luck!
  15. Yes and very impressive. If you ever quit your day job, please feel free to use me as a reference! [Y] Now back to the scheduled programming..........
  16. That would be a very intimidating surround speaker. I believe you meant to say RS-52. The RS-52's have no problem keeping up with my RF-83's which are the equivalent to the RF-7's. Yes, I stand corrected. No need to photoshop that one YM.
  17. The recommended surrounds are the RS-64II's but many such as myself have gome with the RS-52II's to save a few bucks. Many people that have heard both stated that there was not that much of a noticeable difference between the two. Also if space is an issue (RS-62II's are huge) the 52's may be a better fit. As far as price, I suggest you call Mike at Acoustic Sound Design for the best price. I bought my towers and surrounds from them and they are very agressive on pricing and have great customer service.
  18. I misread the in wall section. I was thinking of a wooden box around the actual KLF with the vent to test the acoustics.
  19. Maybe you can do a small "mock up" to test the proposed scenario?

    XMC-1 Pics

Pics with a Fed-X label would be even nicer! []
  21. I've only had mine for a couple of weeks now but so far it is dead silent. Maybe it was a fault with earlier productions?
  22. This is a good deal in the garage sale section......... http://community.klipsch.com/forums/p/166272/1789800.aspx#1789800
