  1. Awesome, glad you like it. I went with the 103 and I love it.
  2. Entertaining movie. Picture was good, audio was decent but nothing really stood out. Definitely worth a watch, even had some Klipsch Synergys in there.
  3. There was a recent firmware update that added Rhapsody and Cinemanow. Get Amazon prime Oppo!
  4. No it doesn't. Better? Yes, but not "blows it away" better. Not from my experience. I guess we can agree to disagree on that point. Fair enough. I guess we have different definitions of what blows away means. If something is better in all facets, I would say that blows something away. If it was just better at one thing, I would be more apt to agree with you. It's all good though, I could just be defending my purchase ;^P PS3 is set up in the bedroom now.
  5. No really, it does. Everything about it is better. Faster, better picture, plays everything, etc. But you are right, you are paying a premium for those capabilities, but I think it is definitely worth it.
  6. I have yet to come across a downloaded movie file that my oppo hasn't been able to play as well . I know I had some issues with that sometimes on my PS3.
  7. But to do this affectively, don't you also have to remove the internal crossovers on speakers? Or would removing the bumpers drop the ohm load?
  8. You beat me to it. I got the same ones except with a higher weight rating for my RS-62IIs. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00009W5X2/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00
  9. ^^^Those are similar to mine. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002UV03MW/ref=oh_details_o01_s01_i02
  10. If you are interested I can link you some good wall stands for them. I have them for my rears and they can move around a bit for pointing, plus they won't take any floor space. If they would work in your setup they would be a very good option.
  11. ^^^You really have to point it at whatever you want to turn off, that's something I've noticed. Not a big deal if everything is out in the open, but when it wasn't in my setup, it was a bit of a pain.
  12. If you have the 82IIs, then you will want to go with the 62II as well because the crossover points will match up better.
  13. Ha ha, yes it is a nice remote. It still hangs out, but I do have it programmed in the Harmony.
  14. I was able to put up all of my other remotes. My scare with universal remotes was that there is always that 'one' button that you need that the universal doesn't have, but if you go to the devices button and pick the device you want to control, it has every button that is on the original remote. You can also set up shortcuts for all of the buttons you use the most on each screen. It really is a great remote and I'm glad I have it.
  15. ^^^Could be a shrewd business man that builds up successful businesses to sell them.
  16. I've heard the opposite. The IIs are supposedly a bit less fatiguing than the Is. He may be either expressing his opinion or telling you this to get the older speaker off of his shelf. Either way, I'm sure you'll be happy with it. What kind of fronts do you have?
  17. I've got one of those. Really nice piece of gadgetry. I agree that it doesn't sync well with Macs, I think I got it to work a couple times, but gave up and use my PC as well. After using it for a while I decided that the Harmony One would have probably been plenty enough for my needs, but it's still pretty cool. It took me a bit to figure it out totally, but works great now. Let me know if you have any questions on it =^)
  18. Started watching Dark Shadows and I swear I saw some Cornwalls in one of the scenes...
  19. Although I disagree with your statement that the Oppo is not worth the money, I hope you enjoy your PS3. It's not that 'quick' when compared to one of the new dedicated players, but it's sufficient. It also has pretty much any streaming app you could want, so overall it's a good player and nothing to scoff at.
  20. Perhaps the router itself is the culprit. Have you tried the wifi at a hotspot? I have had the worst luck with wifi routers... The ethernet works fine, and the wifi sometimes hardly moves and disconnects all the time... Plug in the ethernet, and all your troubles are gone. Sounds frighteningly familiar. I'm not sure how relevant the following is, but I got a MacBook Pro laptop for the dining room after many years using my Dell PC as my main system in the basement. The Dell stayed downstairs, where I put a new router to wi-fi to the Mac.It's not been wholly successful -- sometimes the Mac doesn't "Wi" for a long time, and I never know when it will finally do it. Some PC programs like AOL don't work very well, either, and some Windows programs aren't made for Macs. I have two other rather major issues: (1) I can't open a second window (or don't know how) on the Mac, so I can't go back and forth between windows; and (2) the MS keyboard works quite differently from the Mac's -- the Mac "delete" key has awkward uses; the Mac doesn't use the MS CTRL-key shortcuts; and the Home and End keys go to the beginning and end of the document, not the line. I finally gave up and got an MS keyboard, which takes up extra space and duplicates the Mac's keyboard. This is NOT an arrangement I'd do again! I have never had a problem with connecting to wifi with 4 macs between my wife and I. You can open a second window. Mac uses command instead of CTRL for shortcuts, such as command T, for a new browser tab or command N for a new browser window. Personally, I do like OSX, but not any more than I like Windows. I think that macs are *way* overpriced for the specs you get, and the only reason I continue to buy them is that they tend to be more stable for DJing.
