  1. Klipsch is letting me custom order an "unofficial" product they don't sell to the public. I think we are all very lucky, to have this opportunity. I'm happy. Just saying...
  2. I'm stocked up on Ibuprofen. Pics are very possible, as long as I don't struggle and look like a fool...
  3. Sorry Schu, I think the walnuts are heading to my place in Roseburg, OR. I love that new speaker smell... They're gonna pretty my place, right up !!!
  4. We all need a hobby or interest, to channel our passion. Happy wife , happy life. Happy man, is a good plan. Compromise is fine. Surrender, never !
  5. I'm looking at the Ashly Protea actives. I like them because they are made in the U.S. , but there are so many models. Can you recommend one that would work well with Jubilee's ? The Yamaha, I can't find at all. Thanks...
  6. Nice, haven't tried Goose yet. I do have 16.5 cases of Celebration Ale in my spare room, and a 12 pack (oops 11 pack) in the fridge...
  7. I'm sure I'll pick both. Not sure what acoustic treatments I will need, as the Jubilee's will be new to me. Considering how long I will own these speakers, listen to them, look at them, smile at them, and hug them. $400 bucks for the walnut panels, is an absolute bargain...
  8. The walnut or cherry front panels, make a huge improvement in the general looks of the speakers. It provides a nice contrast, to an otherwise all black speaker.
  9. Toni's, middle and ring finger got caught in a blade that cuts sheet metal. It sliced the ends off. He melted a squeegee bottle down and made tips to form to his fingers, and placed leather over them so he could grip the strings. He tells the story in " The Last Supper " DVD of Sabbath's reunion concerts in 1999-2000. I highly recommend it, it's fantastic !!!
  10. Zeppelin 4, has surpassed thriller. Greatest hits should not count, it's not a single album. It's a collection of hit songs over a long period of time...
  11. Sometimes it's fun and exhilarating to buy new. Especially when your favorite brand introduces an exciting new product. If you want them, but em...
  12. Your second sentence, is right on the money. You, and about six other members had a big influence on me buying Jubes. Thanks, to all of you...
  13. I'm sure you will be next. I ordered the walnut veneer front panels, which adds more time, I was told 4-6 weeks. You ordered way before me, so I'm holding up the next person ( sorry dude, whoever you are ). Lol. I already paid, I just need an active crossover...
  14. Any speculations, as to why ? I've wanted a pair, for a few years. After the substantial price increase of the Heritage line, I felt a sense of urgency to buy, as a price increase in the Cinema line, could possibly be next. How cool would it be to have the PWK logo, in the middle of the front panel ?!
  15. My bad. The anticipation will just make it that much sweeter... Maybe we should tell the factory guys, not to rush. To take their time, and do a great job.
  16. Thanks ! I am buying them without ever hearing them, ( for the scorecard ). After owning KLF 10's, Chorus 2's, and LS 1's, I'm sure I'll love them. After the glowing reviews and opinions from so many forum members, I could resist no longer...
  17. Mr. Chris, I ordered my Jubilee's last week, and my receiver ( which will be my pre-amp ) and two power amps all have only RCA connections. Whichever active crossover I buy, will only have XLR connections. I will have to buy many RCA to XLR, and XLR to RCA connection cables. Do you think it would be better to just buy a couple Crown D-75A amps, or stick with what I have and hope for no noise issues ? All opinions and experiences are welcome, and appreciated.Thanks...
  18. Those are all possibilities, OMG ! You forgot the shipping company, might leave them in my driveway, during a rain storm...
  19. I ordered my Jubilee's, today ! I'm so nervous, I hope they arrive in perfect condition ! I need a prescription for anxiety... Lol
  20. Mine was in 1985 while in the military. We all had big Pioneer and Kenwood speakers, which we thought were great. We were in Korea, and we went to a friends Quonset Hut to hear this new laserdisc of Twisted Sister. The live concert in the aircraft hanger, from San Bernardino. He had Heresy's, and we couldn't believe the sound coming from those small speakers. It was like we in the front row of the concert. After hearing many commercial speakers in many night clubs, JBL, Altec Lansing, ect. We were in the Boston club, in Seoul. They had a pair of K-horns, and I thought that was the best speakers I had heard. I always said, one day, one day, I will have a pair...
  21. That's awesome, I listen to Funeral for a Friend at least once a week, such a great song. Madman Across the Water is amazing on my La Scala's...
