  1. I've never heard a pair of Salk Song Towers, but I can't imagine they are very dynamic at 88dB sensitivity with only two 5" woofers and a direct radiating silk dome tweeter. I seem to remember that you briefly owned a pair.
  2. Uh.......drink????? I already do that when I'm reading the forum...that way I don't feel like i'm drinking alone.
  3. Crap, what am i going to do all weekend???
  4. Man, that looks sharp! Are you going to paint the baffle black like a Salk Song Tower?
  5. @derrickdj1, is the DSP version still needed if you have an advanced receiver with sub EQ? Although the Behringer EP4000 doesnt have DSP, i'd read somewhere that the EP4000 rates closer to advertised power than the Inuke 6000. Thanks.
  6. Not sure what you're using, but my Nikon D5100 has an HDR setting that will capture two photos (one overexposed and one underexposed) and mesh them together. Needs to be set up on a tripod to be effective. My camera is a few generations old now, but i assume the newer ones have that feature as well.
  7. So what happens to the speakers when a Chipotle goes out of business?
  8. Check out the DVD if you get the chance. The audio mix is different and much better than the CD, IMO.
  9. I imagine that it is pretty stressful trying to manage a low margin high production product line.
  10. Posted on Stereo Integrity's facebook page last night... We are currently closing-out the DS4 18” woofers for $229.00 per unit shipped in the lower continental 48 states (the cart will calculate shipping to AK, HI, and Canada). As of today there are approximately 150 pcs remaining in stock. Based on feedback from our customers we have decided to refocus our efforts on the budget end of the DIY HT driver market segment. We are currently developing a replacement for the original HT-18 model that can be sold at the HT-18 close-out price of $159 all the time and still make business sense for us. Stay tuned for news and updates about the new HT-18 v.2 model coming soon. I went ahead and ordered a second driver so that i can eventually have a matching second sub.
  11. Could you expand on how the sub EQ and the iNuke DSP play together?
  12. Nice review! Can the sub EQ replace the DSP control on your iNukes?
  13. Erdogan has been pushing secular Turkey towards an Islamic state so his victory is a bad sign for the West, IMO.
  14. I think he was counting on the military not being willing to shoot up a bunch of civilians.
  15. I hope to own one just like this...
  16. They come up for sale on this forum now and then. Just stick around a while.
  17. You'd better succeed...it's not going to end well for these guys. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/E/EU_TURKEY_MILITARY_COUP_THE_LATEST?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2016-07-15-21-06-49
  18. The 10 year bourbon wins as it should. It's got a much richer and bolder flavor profile with a smoother mouthfeel. The rye is still great, but if I'm shopping for a rye, my go to is still Prichards. Cheers,
  19. I'm looking forward to comparing this Smooth Ambler Rye to the Smooth Ambler 10 Year Bourbon I've been enjoying for the past few weeks.
  20. I think the dynamic range and alteration between clean verses and distorted chords is what separates Nirvana from some of their contemporaries.
  21. I may also be willing to trade for the right multi channel power amplifier.
  22. On a side note, I just poured some 10 year old Smooth Ambler into a big red wine glass, and the big bowl is much superior to a low ball glass.
  23. I may know where one is available... IMG_1773.JPG Where is that In my liquor cabinet. PM me if you're interested.
  24. It sounds more like apathy and frustration to me.
  25. The majic of music ! Music is for the listener and what the individual gets from it . if you don't Get anything from it than don't listen. And if you do, get a pair of LA Scala's and pump 30 clean watts into them . now you don't have too listen, to some folks . I bet 30 watts into a pair of La Scalas would have the whole neighborhood rocking.
