  1. III have foam as well.. Probably identical to the II, as the II to III upgrade kit does not include it
  2. They aren’t at the house. It’ll be a few months.. lol Foam goes from the bottom, up over the woofer and down the other side. It’s deeper than the cabinet and folds over the woofer magnet from the top and sides as well. This thread talks about heresy foam:
  3. Fwiw, my stock kp250 (pro heresy ii) have and upside down “u” of foam around the woofer
  4. Think you meant @Motor7 I agree though. I personally wouldn’t bother recapping if they sound good with the woofer fixed/replaced. Is the voice coil attached firmly to the cone? If not, that could be your rattle. Nothing to lose trying to re glue it. Missing dust cap alone shouldn’t cause a rattle.
  5. Your serial number indicates they were manufactured in 2000. (The 00 following the KLF10SB) Tough getting old! lol
  6. Also the Klipsch parts recommended replacement woofers for both Forte I and II should the stock ones fail.
  7. These were posted again today… $425 for the pair
  8. Pictures of that plaque would be helpful. Memories can be fickle. If they are forte ii, they were purchased in 89 or later. If you remove the passive and look inside the cabinet, you should find an inspection tag with dates on it. Earlier forte with the round terminal cup had 1985 copyright dates on them. 1986 or so they switched to the tall rectangular cup with 1986 date. Forte ii rotated this cup 90 degrees to make room for the larger passive. Retained the 1986 copyright dates.
  9. I picked up a pair cheap a month ago like the left and right in the pic. Stamped frame k43 in one and stamped k43-k in the other. Mid drivers marked k58 (k53 on a k601 with a bug screen)
  10. Not mine… https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1337311383493761?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Aeeb9fa0a-8dd7-429a-95c1-e5a6a064956a
  11. Tweeter is there. You can see the bug screen in the driver in the photo. Phase plug is behind that screen and not a part of the horn like some other klipsch
  12. I think so. Parts alone are worth multiples of what you paid
  13. Closer to a Forte 1. Still has the k701 mid.. T#00 https://d2um2qdswy1tb0.cloudfront.net/product-specsheets/Tangent-100-series.pdf T#000 https://d2um2qdswy1tb0.cloudfront.net/files/Tangent-1000-series-brochure.pdf
  14. It’s florida… time to lower the price
  15. Been listed for months…
  16. No affiliation. If they were mine, they wouldn’t be for sale!
  17. Look like t500 t5000 has k28 woofers Passive looks like a kg series one maybe.
  18. https://www.ebay.com/itm/255967941919?hash=item3b98e0d51f:g:Sq8AAOSwRy5j4qRG&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoHGtwmitzRCn2bA%2Fv%2FzmfkkNj20NrxNfilHtJmIYH1ENiFJiwniM8ll%2FqHPmbmVkO58vByx%2BBch%2B%2Bls5sXkJdUVw6hSS0qogwsmvyrVypx16uoB5eqP7lmmDSx5YjHneEbuen%2BS4DoqRSFRgkdE84%2Fq2y9qjnDqfHyFSp7WNDcEuc9MFh6v%2FWI9yIyY8zE1%2B0cvxlcwJj%2FOZkJNuLimMsC4%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR4yflpfGYQ
  19. If you can’t find a used one, Crites has heresy i and ii motor boards to help ‘restore’ your heresy….
  20. Did Klipsch install different versions of the AA network? I've seen a schematic on here somewhere that shows the AA with a .35mh inductor between the autoformer and the squawker that starts to roll off the mid around 5khz..
  21. Been 195 for months… Adorama had the version 1 rp600/rp500 for about the same. Not sure if they still do.
