As soon as you are able, I'd build some DIY bass traps and replace those foam pieces with acoustic panels made from Roxul Safe N' Sound. Night and day difference. The problem with foam is it is terrible at treating a room for improved bass/mid-bass response. Also, you should definitely put some sound diffusers in there. That's a small room, and adding sound diffusers will help make it sound bigger than it really is. I added Aurelex T'Fusors to my small room and it made a world of a difference.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it's awesome!

Just ordered some RF7II's, a 64II, an amp/preamp and a sub!

Congrats, buddy! I will be ordering mine (with matching center/surrounds) later this year and slapping some DeanG crossovers in them. -
What exactly are you hoping will be improved? Depends on if you can afford the real thing or need to settle for a compromise. Well, there is room for improvement on the crossovers, but I don't want t debate that again. The Premiere horns seem as though they could also be an improvement for imaging and off axis response. Plus, it's just nice to have a refresh once in a while.

This is pretty old, from 2002. But it's still funny. People were claiming "Klipsch is the next Bose" because some guy supposedly found poor cabinet build quality an (admittedly) damaged RF-7 speaker. http://www.avsforum.com/forum/89-speakers/135320-i-opened-pair-klipsch-rf-7-s-i-found.html Yes, RF-7's are the next AcoustimASS system... Oh bother...

Can anyone provide any info on what the best general guidelines are for getting good stereo imagining when your main listening position is off axis (to the right a few feet)? I am about 11 feet or so from the towers. My projector makes it so I can't be symmetrical, and there's no way of remedying that as it stands in this room. I just need to know how I could get the stereo image a bit more centered, as it sounds like it's off to the left too much. I have done the Audyssey calibration and done SPL meter level matching to both speakers. I also have acoustic treatments (bass traps, absorber panels, and sound diffusers) Thanks in advance for any insight on this.

I wonder what other celebs are genuine Klipsch fans. Would be awesome to know.

Oh my goodness... I am so sorry. That poor guy and those poor kids. We should start a GoFundMe for him. Really helped my wife and I out of a rough spot once.

Klipsch RF7 (old version) crossover modification

Why'd most of them leave? I've seen a few people say that. That's unfortunate. -
Super cool! I would love to see an updated tour.

This is super cool. Love the info! Thank you!! -
Would be very interested to see what a Premiere RF-7 would look like. The Premiere series is so damn gorgeous. It's my current wallpaper.

Hmmm, I think I know what this is about.

I just read my initial post, yeah, it does sound a bit accusatory towards Klipsch. It sure could have been stated much less abrasive. Sorry again, everyone. :/ Hope we can try one more time. Sorry to Scrappy and Thadd, especially. -

Very well put. This is all I want, people who respond to suggestions in a civil and humble manner. I didn't make these threads to be "mean" or upset anyone. Just my observations and things that I think would be helpful/want to see. I really wish things didn't descend into personal attacks and insults, that really was not my intention. I do apologize that things turned out that way. I hope we can all just get along and stop with the bickering. -
