    The gift of music

I'm a huge fan of Godsmack and Sully Erna's solo project. The intro to his live solo concert explains music on a fundamental level and raises more emotional mysteries about music. I was just talking to my wife about the klipsch community on how on another post it was explained that it's more than just speakers. It's a bond between people, etc. We eventually ended up talking about this intro video. I immediately went on YouTube to find an example to post. I hope you guys enjoy it.
  5. If it is in fact the crossover, you can contact Bob Crites to see if he could repair it. From what I understand, he doesn't typically do reference speakers, but he has done one set of crossovers.
  6. I definitely could not put them on the long wall. But I guess if it doesn't sound right in those corners, I could do the false walls and toe them in a bit. I'm sure it will still sound great.
  7. Those are klf 30s and klf 20s in the corners now Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

  9. My ultimate speakers are klipschorns. The only room I would really be able to put them would be my living room which is setup for home theater. The dimensions are 29' long by 13' wide and my listening position is about 16-17' away. Does this work at all for klipschorns? Thanks
  10. Fyi, I was asked this awhile ago, my room is 29' long by 13' wide
  11. Have you been able to do anything with these?
  12. Every time I hooked up an avr to by belles, they never sounded good. I tried my old harman kardon, my father's integra, and his onkyo, all sounded bad. It wasn't until I hooked up the old Sony did they sing. I'm going to try hooking up my harman kardon as a preamp to my Sony to see how that sounds, which will give me the sub out. Thanks for your suggestions. If this works out well, maybe I'll pick up that Yamaha or something from accessories 4 less.
  13. I thought the cornwalls with the vertical horns were only made in 1973.
  14. Those amps are known for dying. Henry Koch is an awesome guy who rebuild these amps. You could buy a refurbished one from him, or send yours out to be fixed. I can't remember prices, but he it's pretty quick to return emails. htkclk@juno.com
  15. You are supposed to post a picture of speakers. Where are the speaker(s) in this picture?

  17. Is that the Sony unit pictured in your avatar? Cannot makeout the model... Yea, that's my Sony. The model number is Sony TA-1144 My Sony only allows me to use the preouts if I'm doing separates only. To use preouts, I need to switch the back switch to preouts, which disables the internal amp. I have heard if I hook up the subwoofer with speaker wire in and out, that it degrades the sound a lot.
  18. Preouts only to run separates
  19. Despite the title, the pictures shows kg5.2s, a center channel, I think kv2, and a sw8 subwoofer. http://www.ebay.com/itm/122048186009
  20. I have a great older Sony receiver running my belles beautifully. I was thinking about trying a small sub with my belles since they cut off at 45hz. I have a klipsch sw10 ii sitting doing nothing which goes down to 30hz. Can someone recommend a decent cheap 2 channel receiver with a sub output?
  21. Everything I read says for atmos, either ceiling mounted speakers or atmos enabled speakers. Putting a speaker high on the wall isn't proper for atmos. For example, the rp140sa can be placed flat on a speaker which points the tweeter and woofer at the ceiling on an angle to be bounced back down to the listener. This speaker also has a keyhole mount to be hung on the wall, but this is supposed to be used as surround speakers only in this scenario.
  22. My wife always likes Sully Erna's solo album and his live CD. She also likes Alice Cooper's Welcome to my Nightmare
