  1. They do. The screws are like 2 inches long so you can adjust it to the angle you want
  2. So I picked up a KLF-C7. Like most of the KLF speakers, this C7 had a loose back panel. I already pealed off the back panel, scarped the old glue, and used liquid nail to reseal it. The previous owner had some metal screw feat underneath the speaker to prop it up at an angle. I am not sure if this was original, or if this was something that he did himself. The screw holes have a metal thread sleeve inside the hole. Since this is a sealed speaker and not a ported, should I be concerned about this? Should I try to seal it? If so, how? I was thinking about using caulking. Any thoughts?
  3. http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/ele/5529827137.html This isn't my sale, but I know the guy, so I'm affiliated.
  4. I doubt they will have the midrange diaphragms, if not, call Bob Crites, he has a direct replacement for those, I think they were $50 plus shipping.
  5. I have heard about solid copper power cables being better than stranded power cables. If that is the case, you probably have solid copper wiring in your house. That part could make sense.
  6. I loved the new star wars. Am I the only one who is upset that it's not in atmos on the Blu-ray? I saw it in atmos in theaters. I'm confused on how DTS got the rights for the Blu-ray since Dolby mastered it in atmos.
  7. That's a great deal, I usually see those going for $450+ around New England
  8. Sorry dad, I forgot to tell him about the feet. Anyways, how are you making out with your 30s? Any progress?
  9. What's with the Craigslist scam ads lately? I've seen probably 4 in the last 24 hours involving klipsch equipment and their gmail address in the ad. Either that or there really was a pair of cornwalls in rhode island for $200. What is the point if this, is it really just to get people to go to some website?
  10. Switch the mid-range horns to see if the problem follows. If it follows, it's probably a bad diaphragm. As far as the mid-ranges go, you can get a replacement pair of diaphrams from Bob Crites for $50. If it doesn't follow, it may be a bad crossover, about $300 ish from Bob Crites. If you are ordering the mid-range diaphragms, you might as well order the titanium tweeter diaphragm upgrade from Crites while you are at it for $75. Then the grill, if you don't replace the grill cloth yourself, you can call klipsch directly, they have new-old stock of KLF 30 grills for $75 shipped (at least they did last week). I love my 30s, once you get them up to par, they sound amazing. Good luck
  11. Sicario was very good, we didn't notice the atmos too much, but very good surround sound.
  12. Ex Machina. Really good movie, not sure why it was the first Blu-ray with dts:x on it.

    What I Got Today!

    That's not a tree house, that's a space station!
  14. http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/ele/5501054039.html It may be a scam because of the gmail address on the post. I'm not sure if this would be a good price, or if it's average.

  16. So I picked these Klipsch KSP-S6 surround speakers up from a guy in Maine. These were part of a much bigger sale (some of the other equipment will end up on here when its ready). So the story goes that the guy that I bought them from, his brother-in-law had these setup as part of his surround sound system. I guess he passed away about a year ago. The guy inherited the entire system, but it was too much for his setup, so he sold everything in one craigslist sale to me. Everything was hooked up to some Carver equipment (which may end up on here at some point). He also had a pair of Oak KLF30s (which I will be selling after I fix the front and back panels), a KLF-C7 (which needs to be fixed, but its all mine), a Definitive Technology 18" subwoofer (all mine), and a ProScan Laser Disc player with a bunch of laser disc concerts. Anyways, I live in Norton, Massachusetts. Local pickup is preferred, but I can ship if payment is provided by the buyer. I am posting here before I hit up craigslist and ebay. I am looking for $225 O.B.O.. I have no idea how much shipping would cost. If it comes to that, I will need to find a box, pack it up, and get a quote from UPS or USPS. Thanks for looking.
  17. Thanks for the info. I am interested in selling these. Maybe by this weekend, I can get some pictures of these and post it in the garage sale section.
  18. Hi all, I picked up a pair of ksp-s6 surround speakers in a big lot of equipment that I bought. It's a corner speaker with two horns and two woofers, and wall mountable. Does anyone have any experience with these, how good are they, are they rare, are they desirable? Also, roughly how much are they worth? Thanks
  19. I got the sub outputting really well now. Thank you. I was wondering how to test how low the sub can go? Is there a spl meter that will display low hz? Or is there a different way to to test this?
  20. So that's basically a preamp?
  21. When I look online for tube amps, it's either really expensive, or the cheap stuff, I just don't know about it. I don't really know anyone that can service tube amps. I think I'm going to give up for a little bit. I've been doing some work in my home theater lately. I may try the monoprice hybrid tube/solid state amp at some point.
