There last day is this Saturday. This one is located in Dover, Delaware. I managed to get some klipsch R-15m's for $99 [emoji857]. I got last pair. They still had some R-14m and R-15PM for like $175. Might be cheaper now If they still have them. Word was that the managers managed to ****** things at an %80 by hacking the system. They got fired though. I read somewhere that having your speakers bridged or in mono destroys surround stage for movies. Doesn't make sense since the AV receiver is doing the processing and the power amp is just providing power right? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I use the headphone jack from mac to analog(receiver). Tidal has a setting on mac that allows you to use the receivers dac. I believe so because controls are on mac are disabled. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I stream my music using Tidal on my MacBook to Receiver via analog to use the RX A1050 dac. I also stream it through airplay on iPad. I have an external power amp hooked up. I'm probably a little younger than most folks(no pun intended[emoji23]) but I'll throw in a few. I listen to everything but I have a preference for Dance/electronic for the most part. Alan Walker: has some nice songs and remixes of "Faded" and "Alone". Some of them are piano versions too. Knife party: "Bonfire's" has some serious bass and dynamics. I don't think your missing anything. It's the source most likely. Have you tried them with anything else? I use my 280's with a yammy and an external power amp. Try messing with the EQ. I'm not familiar with marantz but Yamaha has an EQ for each speaker. That's Besides the tone and bass controls. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I own a pair of 280's and I'm very pleased. Of course, I've never heard the other two. For the money I have to say the the 280's are great! With my AVR they sounded a little bright but I'm powering them with an older adcom power amp and they sound warmer and better. I'd like to upgrade to the Rf7ii someday or maybe the RF7iii coming out.
