  1. I hope the crossover was updated. The horn still needed some work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Link doesn't seem to work. :-( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. $3,000 for the fifteens. Roy wasn't involved in those...so maybe that has something to do with the lack of mumps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. For a lot of us here, we prefer the Heritage sound. Not everyone, but a large chunk. The fact that Roy Delgado designed them is a HUGE plus and major selling point. He was PWK's right hand man and creates some amazing speakers. Speaking for RF-7II vs Forte - yes. (I owned them both and still have forte.) Which one you would like better would be personal preference. Me? Forte. According to current specs, Forte is 99db, RF-7 is 101. This has nothing to do with two way vs 3 way though.
  5. The Forte III has a riser and sticks with the design of the past. The mid-horn is also significantly larger than the k-701, and is the modified tractrix with 'mumps' technology. Maybe @Chief bonehead could throw us a couple specs on crossover..
  6. Companies don't compete with the used market. You can get most anything cheaper used. This then comes with all the fun of what used can mean: ruined finish, veneer chips, dents, busted drivers, etc. Most of us here have some used gear and have updated/fixed them in some way. However, not all consumers want to do this, nor would they have the time or even knowledge. A NEW speaker with everything working and in perfect shape is fantastic. Even though I do own some used gear, I will be buying these and have myself a set of pristine and amazing sounding speakers.
  7. I will also be in line for the Forte III. What do other companies have available at that price point that will come anywhere near the forte performance? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. They look awesome, @Chief bonehead Very excited about these!
  9. Wow. $3,800 a pair for the RF-7 III. I'm sorry, but you'd have to be crazy to buy those over the Forte III. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What I Got Today!

Best shirt ever? My wife got it for me :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Passives are not covered. Klipsch added some more photos.
  12. Also seems to show the horns and the embossed PWK logo on the radiator dust cap
  13. I am overly excited for the Forte III. I also own the Chorus II and love them. I doubt the Chorus III would ever show up. The Chorus was meant to be the replacement for the Cornwall, but the purists complained and the Cornwall was brought back and Chorus removed. Since Klipsch has the Cornwall, I don't think there's a slot for the Chorus III.
  14. I'm betting the Forte III mid has mumps. Perhaps k-703? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I would doubt the Chorus III will ever see the light of day. The Chorus/Chorus II was to be the replacement for the Cornwall. Then demand for the Cornwall brought it back and no more Chorus. ...although I would LOVE a Chorus III.
  16. Awesome stuff! Very excited for this year's products...especially the Forte III!!!!
  17. I watched the video as well. Sounds like a lot of echo and reverb from the room. I hope the new networks work for you, but I think the sound may just be the nature of the different horns in a very 'hard' room. The LSII are going to react with that room very differently than the CW or KG2.
  18. Merry Klipshmas to all of you as well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I'd still be asking this to be fixed. I ordered my Heresy III brand new and the box clearly states how they should be matched up and are. The grains are matched and look great. The special edition should most certainly be matched up. Like most here have said, this will hurt the resale later down the road. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I have both the II and III. To me, the III are clearer, the II have more bass and a "rounder" sound. I don't think you could go wrong with either and both definitely sound like a heresy. They aren't a night and day difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Synergy are not book matched and therefore do not need consecutive numbers. This goes for anything with vinyl veneer and I do believe anything outside of Heritage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
