What's a price for original Klipsch RF-7's ?!?!
Arrow#422 replied to Redline2695's topic in 2-Channel Home Audio
If everything is in working condition then buy them, you won't be disappointed with what they can do. The center regularly sells for 250-450 alone if that helps you determine "deal worthy". -
There's some good pickn's within this lineup. All but the 3's should sell quickly. Best of luck with your sale(s).

sold SOLD : Upgraded Klipsch Quartet Oiled Oak
Arrow#422 replied to 314carpenter's topic in Garage Sale
@314carpenter Congratulations on your sale. $750 minus your Ebay selling & PP fees should net you right about the same as your forum price - without negotiations. That was easy! -
fixed it for ya.

Ash would be a different look.

@vasubandu. Weren't your pursuing these, or did you give up on LaScala in favor of some 3 legged unicorns?

Not sure how badly the functionality was compromised. Seller noted "radio" worked, CD output yielded no sound. Parts only? Maybe worthy of a restoration. Noted nicotine staining means the innards are coated as well. SOLD for $422. I can only lead you to the water, it is up to you to drink - or not.

FWIW - estate sales in my area usually run 2 days and discount 25-33% on the morning of day 2. Day 2 will also frequently see a closing of the sale between noon & 1pm so they can discount to 50% off for the final afternoon hours of the sale. 3 day sales simply stretch the timeline for discounting. You do NOT want to be "in line" for any re-openings. You're better served by taking advantage of the "bid jar" which allows for offers less than list price, but more than the upcoming discount rate. Those $2400 Khorns may've been ready for 25-33% off on the morning of day 2. Knowing the discounting tendencies of the estate sale company would greatly assist, but I believe @jimjimbo had the correct strategy in submitting a written offer for slightly over $1800 & letting the chips land as they may. OR, if you were salivating like a Pavlov Dog, you get in line at 3am before the sale opens to make sure without a doubt that you're #1 in line, talk to the people running the show before it opens, tell them what your there for, pay full price, and they are yours - SIMPLE

Pics of the cabinets to show condition and tags to verify difference in the non-sequence would help. GLWS

A rather large storm had just passed by last summer leaving a nice rainbow and some extraordinary color. This was quickly taken with an iPhone 6+. Nothing special & no filters used.

Forgot how F'n cool this picture really was. Excellent change from the iceboat photo and adds some nice color to the forum.

Seller feedback = (4) and many of the other items currently listed seem underpriced. Caution recommended.

+1 If you "want" them, the miles become irrelevant. @Davidd1067 Looks like 7 hours one way. Turn & burn - no sweat. I've driven further for less.

Found them on CL: https://eauclaire.craigslist.org/ele/d/klipsch-rb75s/6498650001.html

Looks like images found in "the shroud" so maybe these are a deal as list price? I have deep pockets - problem is there are too many holes in them.

Like the mahogany though.
