How are these getting to Nevada? Just curious.

What caps were previously installed? And the major question as always....how do they sound?

This is a severe case of “potential” sellers remorse. I do this every time I sell a piece of gear that I demo for the buyer. Hook everything up and say to myself “dang it” this sounds freaking awesome, maybe I don’t want to sell this,these,those.

These went to a new home today.

Yea with today’s prices and those are walnut you did fine. Like most said listen to them for a while, placement will probably make a bigger difference than any mod can do. You will notice a difference with the titanium diaphragms and it’s such a small investment if you don’t like them go back to the original. I bet you’d be hard pressed to notice much difference after a recap but it’s possible. By the way what amp will you be using? Modern/vintage/tube/ss?

Bad picture, but the brand is Old Masters, it is a wiping stain.

I’ve used a Spanish oak gel stain when I’ve recoated the entire cabinet matches really well. I can get you the brand name if you like, I’ll have to go dig for it.

Yea, not just the screws but pull both horns out of the cabinets and make sure the driver are tight to the horns.

Tell the seller $400 as is. I’m sure it’s a simple fix.

If people are having nervous breakdowns over a virus that they have such a minute percentage of having any serious effects and much less dying, then they had mental issues before. Schools in my area have been open for several weeks now and I’ve heard nothing of a increase in cases here. People are wearing masks more than ever and millions have received the vaccine but yet numbers have plateaued and maybe going back up. Remember when the “experts” said don’t wear a mask because they were ineffective, now those same “experts” say we will be wearing them till 2022!

Looking for a parts express usb measurement mic. They’ve been back ordered a while and look to stay that way for at least a few more months. Guess it doesn’t have to be parts express but definitely usb and simple to use with my MacBook.
