  1. What area are you/they located? That plays a role in pricing. What grill cloth are they? I'm by no means a pricing expert, but depending on condition, finishes, and location, $2k-3k. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. Many scoff at La Scalas and put them down as loudspeakers. I scoff at those idiots. Enjoy them. (Mine are later models with AL-3 crossovers). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Just a thought, at what height are you using them? I do not like my Heresy II's on the floor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. You just mentioned the most important thing: knowing what you like. Just wait until you're deep enough in to start pairing with the foods you like! Have fun on your wine journey! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Mostly, but sometimes in more critical listening times, one pair at a time. Subs are paired with the Heresys. It's quite entertaining to A B C and combo them all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. How did you decide on which Heil AMT's? I see the I, II, and III (and their specs). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Agreed! So gd good. Needs little air. Powerful nose and loves a swirl. Deep flavors mimicking blackberries, mulberries, anise, and fruit forward bold cab. What happened to cabs aging well for 20 years? Nothing! This will continue to nature. Yes, it drinks well now, but will go to other levels in another 5 years (I'm thinking raisin profile). Into the vinocave for the 2 opened bottles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Just was gifted 3 bottles of this RP 90 rated cab. Thank you mother in law! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. 3 Yamaha speakers [(1)center and (2)satellites] wired in series as front channel. The 2 Yamaha slim towers are the fronts, and then the 2 speakers stacked on top of them I have wired in series and are the rear channel. All of these are 6 ohm HT speakers. There's is a Klipsch RW 10 sub and a Velodyne HGS-18 sub. Depending on what I'm watching, I may run in 5-ch stereo or one of the surround decoding programs with one or both subs on. AVR is a Yamaha RX-V473. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Beauties! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. No! You're talking about a center channel. Start with series (won't damage anything) and can play with levels. You're not going to experience any sloppiness in anything in series. You will risk burning up your AVR playing around with dropping the load wired in parallel. Good luck! I'm out of this discussion. Happy experimenting and Happy Thanksgiving! 20. I do not agree. I strongly suggest wiring in series first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Fwiw, I have 3 speakers in series for my center. No issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Well then how about buying one each usb and thunderbolt drives and doing an A B comparison test? What format are you planning on ripping to? What NAS are you using? I'm very interested as I am just now starting to consider ripping and utilizing my NAS for music. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
