    Maybe thats the problem.... I never invite more than a couple neighbors. The rest want nothing to do with that kid that listens to music too loudly

    It's only one neighbor that's a problem. I almost always throw parties on Friday or Saturday afternoon to evening so that I won't keep people up or interfere with the kids going to school. I have a "bored" neighbor across the street that looks for things to complain about. The cops are usually cool and said they woudk love to come join the party and the music sounded fantastic. They had a job to do though... I don't intentionally try to piss neighbors off, but the volume tends to go in the same direction as the amount of drinks consumed.

    Lucky you. I would love to have an over the top system outside if I were in your shoes. I think the 396s and an 1802 would be more then enough

    Mine call the cops.... Going to try to keep it reasonable tonight. Little grilling in the backyard. Figured I would use this sub a few more times before Tony comes and picks it up. As soon as this sub comes on, it's too much. 396s sound fantastic without a sub outside (but I'll be using it tonight and see what I can getaway with 😜) .

    In Full agreement with you here. Disclaimer : I own the 396s and haven't heard the 362s. The 362s use drivers found in heritage models, while the HF compression driver in the 396s is much larger and better quality. The woofer is the same. The horn on the 396 HF section is massive given the size of the box as well. Effortless is likely the first word that iwll cross your mind when you hear a pair.

    Haha, sorry but it's the truth. Let's put it this way, a pair of 396s is capable of close to 130 dB continuous output. A pair of fortes?.... Exactly...slightly less 😏

    You are replacing a low power handling tweeter with a small horn with a high power handling compression driver and a MUCH larger horn. Not a good match whatsoever IMO. Fed some power on the 396s, they get RIDICULOUS real quick. Fortes? Not even close....

    Yes, turn down the 510 and move the fortes closer to the rear wall. Those 510s are way more than a Forte woofer will likely keep up with. As such, balance them out better up to the fortes limits if you want to keep that setup

    This I know. In my area LA scalas rarely come up for sale. They usually list at 2k+. CA doesn't follow the typical prices seen on this forum.
