Yuuuuuuuup. We had a great time going up there. Too bad his phone died that day. lol We told him though. Another buddy built a camper on the back end of his Peterbuilt. Amazing camper. He'd take his wife and they'd pull their 4-wheelers behind it. Talk about easy pickin's? He killed it on those things up there. Just checked in w/Jay on his cabin fever and asked if he wanted to go North huntin. He jumped at the chance. hahahaha Would give social distancing a new meaning! lol

Hahaha, just remembered this. One guy that went w/us was high 75% of the time he hunted. Great guy and funny as heck. Welllll he got totally lost one day. We went back and waited 3 hours for him and nothing. Called the Sheriffs office and asked them if he might have checked in w/them. Nope, nada. After dark we gave up and went back to the little hotel we always stayed at. I mean what could we do? We'd driven and looked, notified the Sheriff he was still missing and had NO idea where he was. The next morning we found him about 5 miles from where we were walkin down the road. Yup, he got lost and swore he'd never smoke dope again and hunt mushrooms. Said he was so thirsty he was drinking water outta puddles and found this old couple living in a cabin back in the woods with no phone. They took him in, fed him and loved him being there. Even invited him back the next year. We just shook our heads but he did say he'd never hunt mushrooms in the woods up there high again. There we sat all of us around the fire that nite drunk as skunks laffin our rears off. So yea, now I'm gonna have to give him a call and tell him it's about time to go north. Should be a hoot!

I used to hunt them all the time around here. Not so much in the last few years. They're fantastic just floured and fried up in butter. They'll enhance a good steak in a great way. Dry them for use in spaghetti sauce or if you can just toss em in. Just South of the Mack bridge up in ❌ichigan the hunting season is insane. Have been up there 4-5 times with friends in season and it's insane. The locals even take the road signs down so you can't find the roads you hunted in previous years. Insane but ALWAYS a good party in the evenings! Put them in a net bag so the spores fall out when your walking so you regenerate them! Good stuff!

Seems like everyone's back on task in here. Well, maybe. Two days of working nite shift and now maybe back to normal for a few more days. Crashed about midnight and up at 8. 40 mile road trip to pick up a scrip is nuts. Yea I saved $5 but had to drive to pick it up. Just nuts and I've asked them @ the Doc's why? Never an answer on a scrip that I'll be taking forever. Write it for a year so I can go mail-order and chill. Maybe they're trying to tell me something w/the 3 month scrips? lol Gotta love it! The sleep thing? About ready to roll up a pound of pot in a Pampers before bed. Kinda hard to light w/that plastic liner in the Pampers but once ya get it lit you're good to go! Back to being pathetically worthless! Might just have to warm the tubes up shortly! Bats? Seriously? Where's Ozzy when ya need him?

@JohnJ Did that show twice. First was 10 rows back center and those rolling floods were blinding not to mention hot af! Great show and was glad to see them toss it out there. Have to keep an eye out for the next one now. They'll still make money from those that want the show so not really a biggie. Beer money.

Welcome to the Forum Mike. Gonna be one heck of a bedroom w/a 65" in it. How large is the room cause you're gonna be rockin!

The stuff I wanted to save is in a footlocker in the garage. My grands will prolly play in it when I'm gone. Long ago when I was young I played in my grandfather's attic and opened my uncle's footlocker. My uncle eventually snuck up and caught me, smiled and asked that I put everything back when I was done. I remember when Apocalypse Now came out. Watched some of the beginning and got up and walked out. I've since watched it in it's entirety on disc but that took a long time to do. Two years in that schiit hole was enough. No PTSD, no nuttin but the past is the past. Twice a year at church my pastor asks those who served to stand and be recognized while the congregation applauds them. I've never stood and never will. Instead I pray for my brothers who never made it home. I've wished I never opened that footlocker of his so many times. Don't want any schiit outta you guys either. Just a random thought that surfaced.
